Using my Fable credits on procedural animals, this horse cost $40 in tokens. I'm not sure how to feel about that honestly, an artist could do better for $40 I think, at the same time this is all code, and I can't begin to imagine how long it'd take me to code it, even given my experience. I guess being code means it's worth more than the artist version at $40, with the code I can now make all breeds of horses, where the commission I'd be stuck with one 🤔

This might be the best "AI Engineer" I've tried so far. ​ I'm an old school developer who started 30 years ago. I feel very uncomfortable letting AI take control of my code, but for the sake of science, I spent two hours building an application that took me weeks to build a couple of years ago. ​ I used Pythagora, a brand new tool backed by Y Combinator. They just released to the public. ​ Keep in mind that I use AI every day to write code, but Pythagora is something different: it's a tool that leads, and uses you—the human—as the copilot. ​ I go into more details in the video, but here is the TLDR; ​ 1. Holy molly! We've made a ton of progress on this front! This is way better than Devin when I tested it a few months back. ​ 2. Love the approach of generating a plan with sub-tasks before writing any code. ​ 3. The tools never tries to do too much: it tackles every small task one at a time, and gives you instructions so you test everything. ​ 4. It does exactly what you'd do when it gets stuck: writes a bunch of logs and uses those to correct itself. Pretty neat! ​ 5. It's fast. It runs locally. It's an extension to Visual Studio Code. ​ I'm impressed, but I don't think this tool is for me. ​ I'm not the type of developer who's ready to relinquish control. I felt I had no connection with the code because I didn't write it. It was not my code. ​ I know many people who don't care about this. I know many people who will get tremendous value out of Pythagora. I hope they keep pushing the limits, providing feedback, and helping this get to a point where old folks like me feel more comfortable using it. ​ Don't take my word for it. The best thing you can do is to give it a try and see how you feel using it. ​ Thanks to the team who built this, for all of the explanations and support, and especially, for sitting and listening to my dumb questions for 2 hours while I tested this.

It sucks to see my art sell for peanuts. Because in a way "my worth" is literally tied to these prices. Like my art is sold on the stock market, next to all these rugs all the bullshit and yet it's sold for pennies on the dollar. Why? I could have done things differently. Obviously my timing was off with the release. Though in hindsight I'm grateful it's out there. I know a large group of you supported me, believed in me, and saw the vision. The vision we have been dreaming off since 2021. The kind of vision that makes normies ask "how do I get this". The vision that only makes sense on the chain. But here we are. A FP going down. And beyond it sucking for my ego. I know it sucks really hard for those who believed in me You supported me. Big time. And yet here we are. Its even more frustrating seeing the things that are happening and going wel. My art being shown at artbasil with NOLCHA and nftmiami with SuperchiefGalleryNFT . An interview with OpenSea Dreams. Big dreams being fulfilled. Some of you found yourself in my art. You will hold forever. Because its you in there. Some of you want to play the collector game. Find how deep it goes. Today I want to make an announcement. Kyogen was started from my love for Ukiyo-e art and it was made real by my fam T̶h̶e̶S̶o̶c̶i̶a̶l̶T̶r̶a̶u̶m̶a̶. Today I want to make an announcement. Kyogen was started from my love for Ukiyo-e art and it was made real by my fam T̶h̶e̶S̶o̶c̶i̶a̶l̶T̶r̶a̶u̶m̶a̶. I was constantly looking for an artist that can hand draw Kyogen as I do not want it to be AI generated and he reached out saying he can do it. I can’t say exactly how effective Bitcoin is as a money, but it’s being perceived by many as an alternative money and so is worth paying attention to. Money needs to be both a medium of exchange and a storehold of wealth — and the latter is more important. I doubt that any central bank will take it on as a reserve currency. That’s because all of the transactions are public, so there’s no privacy to it, and there’s a risk that in the future the code could be broken to make it less effective through government controls. My personal approach is that I do have some Bitcoin in my portfolio, but not much.

This is one of the coolest open-source AI agent projects I've seen in a while: 'Understand Anything' It's a plugin for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode etc. that analyzes your codebase and turns it into a knowledge base that you can interact with. It explains the codebase to you, rather than showing you the structure. It seems like it's designed for code but I opened my Obsidian vault of podcast highlights in Claude Code, then ran /understand. The result is a knowledge graph that I can search of highlights from 888 podcast episodes and 144K lines of markdown text.
