Using my Fable credits on procedural animals, this horse cost $40 in tokens. I'm not sure how to feel about that honestly, an artist could do better for $40 I think, at the same time this is all code, and I can't begin to imagine how long it'd take me to code it, even given my experience. I guess being code means it's worth more than the artist version at $40, with the code I can now make all breeds of horses, where the commission I'd be stuck with one 🤔

We can have an army of junior programmers, called agents, that will just spit out reams of code but someone's got to have the big picture and review all of that. And so, increasingly, our craft is going from one of writing the code, to one of reviewing the code and building the architecture of the code and overseeing the work. It's a different kind of craft. It's a different kind of enjoyment. I've always liked writing the code. To me that was the fulfilling part, seeing it work. In a way, AI robs a little bit of that, because I am less interested in reviewing code." #2 - The code review experience should be improved: "I think we could also make the process of reviewing code much more interesting than it is today. I mean, today, you see a list of diffs in alphabetical order and now it's up to you to make heads or tails of it. There are more pedagogical ways of presenting that. This might be the best "AI Engineer" I've tried so far. ​ I'm an old school developer who started 30 years ago. I feel very uncomfortable letting AI take control of my code, but for the sake of science, I spent two hours building an application that took me weeks to build a couple of years ago. ​ I used Pythagora, a brand new tool backed by Y Combinator. They just released to the public. ​ Keep in mind that I use AI every day to write code, but Pythagora is something different: it's a tool that leads, and uses you—the human—as the copilot. ​ I go into more details in the video, but here is the TLDR; ​ 1. Holy molly! We've made a ton of progress on this front! This is way better than Devin when I tested it a few months back. ​ 2. Love the approach of generating a plan with sub-tasks before writing any code. ​ 3. The tools never tries to do too much: it tackles every small task one at a time, and gives you instructions so you test everything. ​ 4. It does exactly what you'd do when it gets stuck: writes a bunch of logs and uses those to correct itself. Pretty neat! ​ 5. It's fast. It runs locally. It's an extension to Visual Studio Code. ​ I'm impressed, but I don't think this tool is for me. ​ I'm not the type of developer who's ready to relinquish control. I felt I had no connection with the code because I didn't write it. It was not my code. ​ I know many people who don't care about this. I know many people who will get tremendous value out of Pythagora. I hope they keep pushing the limits, providing feedback, and helping this get to a point where old folks like me feel more comfortable using it. ​ Don't take my word for it. This might be the best "AI Engineer" I've tried so far. ​ I'm an old school developer who started 30 years ago. I feel very uncomfortable letting AI take control of my code, but for the sake of science, I spent two hours building an application that took me weeks to build a couple of years ago. ​ I used Pythagora, a brand new tool backed by Y Combinator. They just released to the public. ​ Keep in mind that I use AI every day to write code, but Pythagora is something different: it's a tool that leads, and uses you—the human—as the copilot. ​ I go into more details in the video, but here is the TLDR; ​ 1. Holy molly! We've made a ton of progress on this front! This is way better than Devin when I tested it a few months back. ​ 2. Love the approach of generating a plan with sub-tasks before writing any code. ​ 3. The tools never tries to do too much: it tackles every small task one at a time, and gives you instructions so you test everything. ​ 4. It does exactly what you'd do when it gets stuck: writes a bunch of logs and uses those to correct itself. Pretty neat! ​ 5. It's fast. It runs locally. It's an extension to Visual Studio Code. ​ I'm impressed, but I don't think this tool is for me. ​ I'm not the type of developer who's ready to relinquish control. I felt I had no connection with the code because I didn't write it. It was not my code. ​ I know many people who don't care about this. I know many people who will get tremendous value out of Pythagora. I hope they keep pushing the limits, providing feedback, and helping this get to a point where old folks like me feel more comfortable using it. ​ Don't take my word for it. It sucks to see my art sell for peanuts. Because in a way "my worth" is literally tied to these prices. Like my art is sold on the stock market, next to all these rugs all the bullshit and yet it's sold for pennies on the dollar. Why? I could have done things differently. Obviously my timing was off with the release. Though in hindsight I'm grateful it's out there. I know a large group of you supported me, believed in me, and saw the vision. The vision we have been dreaming off since 2021. The kind of vision that makes normies ask "how do I get this". The vision that only makes sense on the chain. But here we are. A FP going down. And beyond it sucking for my ego. I know it sucks really hard for those who believed in me You supported me. Big time. And yet here we are. Its even more frustrating seeing the things that are happening and going wel. My art being shown at artbasil with NOLCHA and nftmiami with SuperchiefGalleryNFT . An interview with OpenSea Dreams. Big dreams being fulfilled. Some of you found yourself in my art. You will hold forever. Because its you in there. Some of you want to play the collector game. Find how deep it goes. And others , the speculators, sell my art because there's no upside. But who did you sell it to? Ever wondered this? Why can you sell in the first place? There's a group of people, who love it. And they love it so much they'll buy it when they can. Regardless of price. So what's my job? I need to grow this group. And this is where we one up the degens. Because the art is good. The collection is good. Its undeniable. And so its a matter of time. And perseverance. And I happen to have both. Stay breezy. Stay bullish

Today I want to make an announcement. Kyogen was started from my love for Ukiyo-e art and it was made real by my fam T̶h̶e̶S̶o̶c̶i̶a̶l̶T̶r̶a̶u̶m̶a̶. I was constantly looking for an artist that can hand draw Kyogen as I do not want it to be AI generated and he reached out saying he can do it. SocialTrauma is an amazing artist that you all should be following as he is doing amazing stuff and if you want to launch a collection, he is the person you should have a chat with. Do follow him as more will come. Kyogen is just the start for me as I have other plans to do more art drop to people to make Ordinals Fun again.

I can’t say exactly how effective Bitcoin is as a money, but it’s being perceived by many as an alternative money and so is worth paying attention to. Money needs to be both a medium of exchange and a storehold of wealth — and the latter is more important. I doubt that any central bank will take it on as a reserve currency. That’s because all of the transactions are public, so there’s no privacy to it, and there’s a risk that in the future the code could be broken to make it less effective through government controls. My personal approach is that I do have some Bitcoin in my portfolio, but not much.
