i don't think its mutually exclusive. my personal work uses a lot of ai. and it uses a lot of my manual work. i think a world exists where we amplify, not replace.

i agree that things like 3D are a good example of human/computer work hybrid workflow, but the weird push i see from some ai people, for ai to replace 2D/3D workflows as they dump seedance ai ads all over this app is wild to me. It’s the push to make ai better than humans at art

agree. with ai as a new tool people see the commercial benefit to pumping out slop. i want a world with less slop.

Agreed. Ai tools can be nice, especially in video editing software, but it seems like openai wants to replace blender/zbrush users or illustrators

Imagine where things will be in a year from now. I remember 2 years ago around this time we were only recently getting reasoning models, a year ago we saw agents be able to auto pick models for different jobs, and today we have models that can just do stuff. Amazing.
