Yumi does get cooked every single time whenever she’s in mid-battle. It doesn’t even remotely change the fact that she’s still the better fighter out of everyone in the Lyoko Warriors.

Okay, so if Yumi wants to get devirtualized less often, she needs to not say ironic dialogue.

no she was the goat tbh the writers just sometimes played her real dirty i'll give you a s1 synopsis: they go to this virtual world to help stop a computer virus that launches attacks on the real world and them more specifically

s1 is pretty much episodical with a revert to status quo, but s2-s4 get a proper developing story The entire thing is on Youtube but the colours are a tad desaturated, but it's still perfectly fine: Upscaled:

when they get devirtualised they have a cooldown period where they can't go back, but even then they still help out in the real world. no character is ever really sidelined

@IzuruKamukuma @SentientGoth They can't fall into nothing. Isn't there like a digital sea below each zone minus them fifth one? If i remember correctly, if you fell in it you're lost forever but i could swear someone once fell in it and they had to go rescue then

@IzuruKamukuma @SentientGoth yes, that's true, but there's a clip i included in this video where yumi falls off her scooter in the outer part of sector 5 and it's never brought up again, with the assumption being that she was devirtualized
