Frederick Douglass Haynes III referred to Israel as an apartheid state "Watch in the news the disparity between Palestinians being killed and Israelis being killed. It is totally unfair. This country's going to stand on the side of apartheid because that's its track record. It stood by apartheid in South Africa because it created apartheid in this country."

And when I’m on the street while the sirens go off, I go to public shelters. I have never been been discriminated against inside the state of Israel, and my name is Ahmed, and I have spent quite a lot of time in Israel in the last year.
