If Apple won't share Mica I will make one. Here's a quick demo of what I was able to achieve with Codex and some years of experience in UIKit/SwiftUI (ouch!). We have a dedicated file format that runs off Point-Free's SQLiteData, because you know, SQLite file format is AMAZING. (Almost) Full spec. SVG/PNG import with a full suite of keyframe animations and CoreAnimationArchive (.caar) file export. View-Normalised SwiftUI Code export coming too. This will forever change how power users switch apps on MacOS MacOS is full of animations. Switching to an app means repeatedly using cmd + tab or using power tools to assign a hotkey to the app. Even if you are using the hyperkey on Raycast to open apps, you will still be faced with the animations if the app is on different desktop. I've completely solved this pain point in the latest release of SuperCmd Here's what's done 1. Completely eliminated the animation, the hotkey will instantly switch to the instance of that app, even if it's on a different desktop 2. If there are multiple instances of the same app, e.g., 4 cursor projects, it will cycle through all the open windows of that app. (even VSCode / cursor supports cycling through windows only on the current desktop) I've long wanted to solve this issue for myself, and it has been the biggest bottleneck in my productivity. I see this as a huge win for power users, specially ADHD bois! SuperCmd 1.0.7 is out, but I wanted to dedicate a post to this specific feature first. I say this, and in no means throwing shade at Cursor, but using the new design mode really makes me appreciate the speed of interactions in Figma and Framer. I will absolutely be testing it out in my own workflow, and love that an IDE finally is adding a browser view and selection UX for local dev support, especially one as powerful as cursor... But i'll wait until undo works. I mean... how am I supposed to design without cmd+z?

And the reality is that a lot of users NEVER enter the listing. They search for something, see the app in the search results and download it directly from there. So the important update here is the new Search Results image. It's an app banner inside the App Store search results. And you should think about it as a persuasive ad. COPYWRITING will be what matters. Not the fancy "branding". Users are searching because they want an answer to something. Your creative needs to give them that answer immediately. And this becomes even more important with Apple Ads. You can pay to appear for the keyword, but your creative still needs to convince the user that your app is the answer they were searching for.
