I am!!! I am sorry, I don't mean to be rude... It's just that music theory is a deep and vast subject, requiring a LOT of dedication and time to learn... Voice leading, harmonic analysis, chord functions, inversions, scales & modes, and so much more-- not an AI program printing "Em7" when you only pressed one key (which is nonsense)... When you are like, "i heard a neapolitan, and an augmented 6th!" then you're on to understanding music theory.

I'll trust codex once I see how it reacts to this guy

Logic Pro X has had this ability for years. You can also turn your midi sequence into composition as well.

Love to see your excitement about learning music! Keep in mind most DAWs have this feature. Just make sure it gets the chords write. Ive vibecoded many music apps using top models and they still get chords wrong.

What piano you use to connect directly to PC/Mac? I have an acoustic upright piano can't connect that directly! Lol
