Coding agents are tools for describing and manipulating the world, not just software. I left Qwen3.8-Max running all day with the goal of generating a five min National Geographic style documentary about Hall Beach, Nunavut, a map dot I saw on the plane home from London. It wrote a... show more

That's incredible

How did it generate the videos? Eleven mcp?

Minimax via the FAL API!

i see a cal academy planetarium run in its future

I’m about to go on a generational documentary run of obscure places I see on plane maps.

Incredible!

Very cool! I am doing something similar creating educational videos for kids using claude code with higgsfield mcp. It can create all the characters even song (FlowMusic)

Love this!!!!

so freaking good! love it

Thank you!!

How come you picked Qwen3.8 max? 👊

@illscience my guess its natively multimodal and more agentic than gemini

@noahhorner_ Actually wanted to try the long horizon capabilities, and this was my test case, it was really, really good. The most surprising bit, though, was how compelling of a storyteller it is. I tried the same thing with other models, and the story just wasn’t nearly as good

@_ankur7 Interesting on the storytelling part! I wouldn’t have expected

wow!👏

This required no intervention from you after the start?

Great post!

so good

Right .. what a moment we live in

that makes the browser a literal interface to the physical world rather than just a place to view text

So cool!

thanks brother!!

The framing is exactly right. And once you accept that agents manipulate real state: files, repos, deployed services, the next question is auditability. I built Campfire ( around this. Every agent session records as JSONL at full fidelity. You can replay any session at up to 8x speed and watch what the agent described and changed, step by step. Fork any session at any message index into an isolated git worktree to branch the world state and run the variant. The manipulation is real. The record of it should be too.

super cool. do you know how much did this cost?

@andrewchen Really cool!

Love it. Looking forward to the fan fic marketplace where co's can license their IP to let people create new series/sequals to their favorite movies/shows/books with AI like this. Then trailers get autogenerated as previews and the good ones get watched/remixed by other diehard fans. The IP holders get a of everything and attractive royalties from the ones that get popular. And of course reserve rights to approve/deny what doesn't meet their standards, pay the best creators to reuse the best story lines, etc. We all know diehard fans who'd easy pay $500+ for new seasons of their favorite shows/movies/books.

Love it haha. I did a riff on Planet Earth but fantasy, great way to build out worlds.

Can you share approx tokens used?

cool
