finished another part of the cathedral. Also added a bunch of gizmos for modifying the building. I have been doing so much procedural modeling these days, it feels like the geometry just appears as I think of it. Feels nice!

A half eaten apple, the cross that was placed on their clothes, and their name that was finally carved together. #TicketToHeavenEP4 ☆ That apple reminds me of the apple in Adam and Eve story. It's like a symbolic way of how they gave in to something that was considered as 'forbidden' ☆ The cross. I saw the hesitation in Tanrak's eyes when he took it off. It didn't feel like he removed it simply because he was afraid of losing it. Instead, it was as if guilt was gnawing at him, like if he kept it on, he would feel the heavy weight of God watching him. Taking it off was like the choice to let go of that guilt and judgment ☆ The names on the tree. Carving their names into the tree feels like their permanent vow. As if a physical mark that Tanrak chose Barth, for now. To accompany him, to face the world with him // I genuinely didn't know what they actually trying to convey, it's just my personal point of view when I saw this

You booked a moving company to help you move to a new home. You agreed to their price and signed a contract with them. On the day of the move they arrive as promised and they pack up your belongings and load it up onto their truck. Then instead of taking them away to your destination, they take it to a warehouse. Just like yesterday when we introduced the use of a hoist machine for casting the upper floors (around the 3rd and 4th floors), Sammyrex could remember, some of the casters who worked on the 1st and 2nd floors complained that we were wasting money. They said they had been carrying concrete on their heads from ground floor up to the 8th–10th floors for over 10 years. But instead of seeing it as unnecessary spending, they should see it as progress, because in some projects, concrete pumps are even used. Construction should move with safer, faster, and more efficient methods.

Nobody comes into my office and says they've been losing ground for years. They come in for a knee or a shoulder. But when you ask the right questions, a different story emerges. They stopped hiking because it got too hard. They gave up tennis. They hesitate before the stairs they used to take without thinking. They've quietly rearranged their lives around what they can no longer do... and most of them didn't notice it happening. This is what I think of as the narrowing of people's lives. It's not a dramatic event. Instead, it's a gradual shrinking of what's physically possible, so slow that people mistake the adaptation for a choice. It wasn't a choice. It was the slow, quiet disappearance of capacity that nobody warned them to protect. They normalized all the changes and attributed them solely to aging. The narrowing is not inevitable!! Dammit... it's not ;-)! But it requires intention to resist because the body will not hold the capacity to do things you do not train, and the losses accumulate in silence until they don't.
