Jeff Burton's full story of Greg Biffle secretly racing with a broken arm during his rookie season in Cup: Biffle called his PR guy one night and told him that he broke his arm "climbing in the motorhome" (which just so happened to be out at the sand dunes - feel free to draw your conclusion) and needed him to play along because he was going to hide the injury. Biffle showed up as late as possible to the next race at Fontana in a winter coat hiding a cast on his arm, and spent the week spending as little time around people as he possibly could. Biffle's team eventually catches on and works along with their driver in order to keep his injury a secret. Biffle goes on to finish 18th that weekend driving with one arm and despite spinning out in the middle of the race. Seven races later, he wins the Pepsi 400 at Daytona.
