He discusses how ZANUPF and Mnangagwa have left the economy in ruins, and he draws a comparison between the children of the ZANUPF political elite, who study in Western countries, and the children in Zimbabwe, who remain in a broken system. He asserts that this is not about colonialism, pointing out that other formerly colonised countries have succeeded with strong leadership. He revisits the history of slavery and discusses how it would not have occurred without the connivance of African leaders at the time.
