Some states in south India have even banned the manufacture and sale of Coke, Pepsi, Sprite and other drinks, claiming they contain high levels of pesticide residues. Both Pepsi and Coca-Cola are in denial about their products being used as pesticides because they say there is nothing in the drinks that can be used as pest control.
