Coldcard is finished and all the crypto gurus who promoted it. I switched from Coldcard to multiple Tangems some while ago because Coldcard was too complicated and that is where mistakes are made.

Well said. Very similar information is being put out across the spectrum of leaders in the space such as @BTCsessions and @TheGuySwann - I hope there is cross chatter on this issue as well. The upside of self custody and sovereignty is decentralized authority. The downside to that is lack of what we in the military called Unity of Command. The force that does not have that, loses. In our space this would be, of course 💯 voluntary and restricted to sharing lessons learned. I highly encourage we do that. See you tomorrow.

I entered this realm with the understanding that I know nothing. However, I appreciate that all y'all are trying to provide some clarity. My heart aches for people who were wiped out, but a call for calm heads and shoring up entropy is the next best step. Well wishes for all.

Question: When you generate a seed from dice on a Coldcard: is the result a function of your rolls alone, or your rolls plus device entropy? And is there a documented way to reproduce the displayed hash offline and confirm your input was used as entered? Genuinely asking — not implying anything.
