Collapsed today and slept for 3 solid hours after Tina drama. Unfortunately when I woke Tina has taken another turn for the worse. Massive bloated stomach came on fast. Luckily emergency vets were still open and she is in for the night. X rays tonight, ultrasound tomorrow…

I made that video with Tina laying beside me today. I had to make as much time for her as I can because she is so special and asks for so little. Tina taken a turn for the worse in the last couple of days. She has everything she could possibly want in terms of vet support, treatments, food and company. She is still upbeat and positive in her attitude but the body is starting to say no. It’s incredibly sad and I’ve damp eyes even writing this but this is real life unfortunately. I even contemplated not sharing any bad news updates about her as I don’t want to upset people. Tina is deeply loved by more people than she’ll ever know. I’m hopeful there can be some more good days ahead for her. ❤️

I know it’s sick!! This isn’t the happy content I usually share and I apologize for that. I don’t want to put anyone on a downer. But this is real life with dogs sometimes. We’ve got Snoop calmed down and he’s sleeping and the bleeding has kind of stopped. Tina is in her new bed which was meant to be the exciting part of the day. I’ve had Snoop for 11 years. If anything did happen to him I couldn’t think of a better place than sleeping between me and Tina. I know this isn’t a happy thread in any way but as I type in the dark hoping Snoop keeps breathing all night it makes me happy to know I’m in a room full of unquestioning love. Tina knew her role today 5/ 🥰🙏

A shock came just a day before my birthday. For the past 4 days, I wasn't feeling well. On Friday, I decided to go for a full-body check-up. The reports came in yesterday, and my hunch was right. It wasn't just laziness and tiredness I've been diagnosed with the early stages of jaundice. My liver is weak, and I can't eat oily food. No protein. No gym. Only rest and boiled bitter gourd and boiled bottle guard😭 Today is my birthday. I slept for 3 hours and woke up feeling tired and weak. I didn't want to go out and celebrate, but around 9,but my mum and dad were all dressed up and waiting. So I got up, tore the tags off my new pair of pants and shirt, and we went to a low-key restaurant. I'm glad I did. I'm feeling much better now. This is how I celebrated my 28th birthday. 😅

McKale is an amazing place. The biggest notable difference was in timeouts. The Phog was loud for 3 hours straight. Even when they went to break it was loud, whether giving a screaming ovation to a former player they recognized on the jumbotron or the student section losing its mind, there was never any reprieve. It was constant. My ears were ringing for a solid 2-3 hours afterward and I got a migraine😂. Tommy could’ve timed this better for sure.

Breaking - The track vet at Aqueduct scratched Miss Apples today. Tough to hear when the trainer says she 100% disagrees with the decision and we’ve been waiting a year for this day. The horse is doing great and she thought she was gonna win and has showed no issues in training and our own vets think she’s perfect. Reason given was lame left hind. Can’t race again till May at the earliest. Vets doing their jobs I guess. I wouldn’t want to race a horse with any issues but when nobody agrees with that 1 vet it’s tough. Maybe I’ll pass on buying more horses at OBSSales today. I’m sad.

💝UPDATE ON HOPE 💝 Good news for Hope today ❤️‍🩹 Our gorgeous brave girl had a good night, and today, we have a little more energy and a waggy tail 🥰 She ate this morning for the first time and is definitely a little brighter. She is full of worms and has been throwing up bits of wood, plastic, and material that she has been eating - poor girl was just trying to survive. She is still being monitored, but I know she is feeling all the love we have for her already and will fight ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 Thank you so much to everyone for helping us save her. The response to her appeal has been amazing, and we really appreciate everyone’s support 💝

From despair to hope and from struggle to triumph, this is the incredible story of a wild elephant mother's fight for survival backed by a dedicated and professional team of foresters and vets from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu Forest Department .The mother elephant was found sick and lying on ground with her 3 months old baby roaming around her in confusion and distress.The team consulted experts and vets and successfully lifted her with the help of a crane. She was kept supported by the crane for three days while being treated by Vets. Her baby joined the herd and other siblings roaming in the nearby forests visiting the mother in the night. Thanks to the treatment,she gained enough strength and was released to freedom in the wild today. We are monitoring her to keep an eye on her well being.
