If truck stops suddenly, what happens to the vehicle coming from behind and they don’t have this feature

It will require tons of hours of study & engineering to make this concept viable. Unfortunately, like any other initiative, this idea will be abandoned mid way and thrown into the dustbin and very similar one will be bought from European vendor. #Thatshowtheyallend

First, this was first advertised by Volvo.. second, seems this will work if there is no one on highway.. but on busy highway, how this will work? What happens to vehicles behind this truck?

This technology will be most useful in fog driving.
