⚡️NATO is over and Europe Will Have New Security Arrangements Based on Historical Alliances US Colonel Douglas Macgragor says NATO is irrelevant and Europe will have new security arrangements grounded in historical and cultural ties. ❗️ For example, Slavic countries - Slovaks, Poles, etc. will all feel more comfortable staying together, he added. "…NATO is over. It's already finished, and it should be, it's not needed, and there's no threat from Russia … I think there will be new security arrangements in Europe. Some of those will revolve around existing ties, historical and cultural. The Hungarians, the Poles, and the Slovaks, will all be comfortable at some point in working with each other," MacGregor said when asked whether NATO would someday be replaced. He emphasized that the key question was what Germany would do in a post-NATO world, considering the EU country's important role in Europe and its historical significance. Macgregor suggested that Germany would end the standoff with Russia once the popular right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party came to power. "The Alternative for Germany, I think, they will come to power and this will be the end of it," MacGregor concluded.
