Color theory is wild.

After the military I got into the beauty industry, and am a freelance makeup artist. During school, we had to learn to make foundation from primary colors. Stuff is so cool.

I went to school for graphic arts after service and had to take a class called "Understanding Color Theory". Besides blending base colors, it also touched on color psychology. For example, red is used to promote something fast, like sports cars. Aqua is usually used for surgical scrubs because that color has a calming effect. Blue is an appetite suppressant so dieticians recommend a blue light bulb in your fridge.
