Yellow & purple are NOT friends on the color wheel 💜🙅💛 Mix them linearly, and your render goes gray. Nature fixes this by bridging the gap with magentas and oranges. Keep your pixels vibrant! #VFXArtist #3DArt #VFX #GameDev

Did you know: You can customize any team's color through our Accessibility feature? Simply head to Settings > Accessibility > Color Customizations and change any color in our system, including team colors. Great when Audi and Scuderia Ferrari HP choose the same color 👀 #F1

“Color theory is the study of how colors relate to one another, how people perceive them, and how combinations of color create contrast, harmony, mood, and visual hierarchy.” So yes, this is color theory in practice.♥️👏🏻

🚨 “WOW!” Joe Rogan Was Absolutely Mind-Blown By This iPhone/iPad Addiction Hack 🔥 His guest, Chase Hughes, dropped the ultimate parental (and personal) life hack: “I did it on my 2-year-old’s iPad… and nothing is addictive anymore. She won’t sit there and stare at it for more than 3 or 4 minutes anymore.” Joe’s reaction? A shocked “Whoaa!” The trick? A simple red color tint filter in your device’s Accessibility settings. It strips away the bright, colorful, dopamine-spiking visuals that keep us (and kids) glued to screens, while also cutting blue light for better sleep. One quick change. Massive difference in screen time and focus. Try it yourself: 1Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Color Filters 2Turn on Color Filters → Color Tint 3Slide Hue all the way to red + max Intensity Works on iPhone and iPad. You can even set a triple-click shortcut to toggle it instantly.

Check your color contrast for accessibility natively in Figma—rolling out over the next week or so. Find it in a color picker near you!👏👏👏 • Auto adjusts for graphics / text size and weight • Visualizes out of range options • Click indicator to get accessible recommendation.

I’ve had quite a few people ask about how I use the black and white underpainting in my process. Here’s a short timelapse video showing part of the color pas over ‘Chrysalis’. I don’t always use an underpainting, but when I do, I use it to work out the overall values and lighting…especially useful when large areas of the painting are invented…such as the entire background and landscape of this painting. Then I make the color pass in pass in opaque oil and use the underpainting as a value guide…free to focus entirely on the color.

🚧 The #Restitched "Design Tool" 🖌️🎨 is a powerful, essential feature for artists (both in the level editor and wardrobe!) Use it to recolor almost any asset! In some cases, you can also set a 'secondary color' and switch between preset texture swatches.🤩✨
