MAPPA cgi looked better but they used It lot more. Wits 2D animation looked better and was more consistently used for titan shifters.

Wot really went above and beyond for AOT. They efforts would never be forgotten

This comparison is pointless, people choosing MAPPA completely missed the point, Wit animated the Colossal Titan over multiple episodes, while the MAPPA scene people pick is literally a moment that doesn’t even last a minute

They’re both… good? I don’t see the point of the comparison here, they’re both different times of day and have different lighting, the artistry isn’t all that different aside from MAPPA having a better explosion effect

I mean the MAPPA one is better, but it's crazy how this is genuinely the worst of WIT AOT vs the Best of Mappa.... Well the best of them before the final chapters, those were actually REALLY well made.

I really don't understand why they changed studios. There aren't any major fundamental differences. Even if Mappa draws details better, in my opinion Wit drew the characters better , with Mappa, they all ended up looking kind of generic

Wit one has a lot more weight and impact, alongside their usual specialty with lighting effects, specially during daytime, you can feel the size and magnitude of the scene. While Mappa one is a generic dark scene commonly used to hide mistakes, with a weightless snappy titan
