“Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned, everywhere is war. And until there are no longer first-class and second-class citizens of any nation, until the colour of a man's skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes. And until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race, there is war. And until that day, the dream of lasting peace, world citizenship, rule of international morality, will remain but a fleeting illusion to be pursued, but never attained... now everywhere is war.” ~ Haile Selassie “Popularized by Bob Marley in the song titled War.”

COLOURS COLOURS EVERYWHERE! Can you count how many products with synthetic colours do Indians consume in 1 day? Let us explore the life of an Indian kid: 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦: 1. Colgate (Allura red colour) 2. Listerine Mouthwash (Brilliant blue) 3. Dove body soap (Tartrazine) 4. Shampoo (sunset yellow colour). 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭: 5. Kissan jam (carmoisine) 6. Packaged orange juice (Tartrazine) 7. Brown bread (caramel colour) 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧: 8. Jim jam biscuit (carmoisine) 9. Sting energy (allura red) 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡: 10. Packaged dahi (erythrosine) 11. Rasna (titanium dioxide) 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫: 12. Britannia cake cookies (erythrosine) 13. Fanta (orange colour) 14. Hersheys dark chocolate (carmoisine) Without realising, we are giving our 7-8 products in a day with synthetic colours most of which are banned in European countries. These synthetic colours are linked to ADHD and neurotoxicity in kids and are harmful for adults as well in high doses. Let us stop giving putting these colours into our bodies and the bodies of our kids. Share to spread awareness!

'There is a genocide happening right now in Gaza, it has been so destroyed it is literally a different colour from space.' At the end of WWII, this country looked at the bodies and promised we would never allow these kinds of atrocities to happen again. This monument reminds us of those who gave their lives fighting a genocide, and that ‘never again’ means never again for anyone. Young people are resisting everywhere, & we need your help ->

🚨 Pep Guardiola on racism in football: "I said the week before. Not for where you were born or for the colour of your skin make us better or worse. There is a lot of work still to do. It is in the society, it is not [just] in football. Racism is everywhere. You pretend that racism is just for the colour of the skin? How you behave is racism. It's how you pretend you are better than the other one just for many reasons." How to improve the situation?: "The schools. Pay a lot to the teachers. That's how you deal with it. In the schools, not in football. The teachers and the doctors have to be the best, the most important people in society, by far. Not the managers."

Isaiah Rashad had some words for the Grizzlies and Ja Morant “I hate the Grizzlies…they’re a bad representation of the state.” “All we needed you to do was get a J and play some D, instead he wanted to colour his dreads and be cute.” “I do not like Ja Morant, I hope Anthony Edwards take your cookies everywhere you go” “He’s a false prophet, they was trying to combine AI and Steve Francis, and got the worst parts of both.” Via Complex

Lol, lol lol..😏 The one person who was actually worried all along about her son Archie's skin colour being too dark and about having dark skinned children all along is the same one who has named her daughter after two white british women shunning her black mother; The same one who publicly expressed her joy that her daughter has "blue! blue! blue! Eyes" and has the Spencer genes; And she is the same one so proud her children Have "allegedly" red hair, she is selling a candle in honor of their red hair😵‍💫 I have never seen a "proud black woman" so proud that her children are Caucasians, so much so she sings about their Caucasian features everywhere and has NEVER showed any pride in her own afro features; Actually, that "proud black woman" went through plastic surgery to erase any "black features" she had..🤡 Ah my dears, the True racist of the RF was all along the one crying "racism"; Colour me surprised..😏 #MeghanMarkleisAFraud

Mathieu Kassovitz on why 'La Haine' (1995) would have been horrible had it been in colour instead of Black & White: "Interviewer: Was it essential that it was three kids? Kassovitz: I needed a trio because when you’re with a friend, you have a discussion, and it ends fast because either you agree, or you don’t, but you cannot argue all the time. Three people can disagree all the time because it bounces from one to the other. I wanted one guy that’s the funny one in the middle; the political one that wants to get even with the society; and then the other one who’s trying to hold it in because he knows what real violence is. It was a trick, like the black and white is a trick too – to make it universal, a story that happens everywhere, so you don’t know if it’s Paris or Mexico or Brooklyn: it could be anywhere. Interviewer: How does black and white make it more universal? Kassovitz: When you look at black-and-white footage from the war, it changes when you see that footage put in colour. I did the voiceover for 'Apocalypse', a fantastic documentary series covering wars, for which they colourised all these black-and-white images and rendered them in HD. In colour, all of a sudden the footage becomes very personal – you see your grandfathers there, it’s not just ghosts or an artistic image, it could be today. What black and white does is bring poetry into reality. That’s why when you do a movie about poverty where you don’t have control over the environment and things are supposed to be ugly, it’s very difficult. It costs a lot of money to make it look good. But it doesn’t cost anything to make it look good in black and white. If I showed you 'La Haine' in colour, it’s horrible." (Mathieu Kassovitz's interview with Kaleem Aftab, BFI, 2020)

A divisive welcome to country was the first thing the Royal Commission into Antisemitism and "Social Cohesion" heard. I'm sorry, wasn't this meant to be about the Radical Islamic Terrorist attack at Bondi? All "Uncle Allan" wanted to talk about was stolen land, tall ships and calling for a "reckoning", assumedly on white people. Worst of all, the Commissioner thanked him for such a "warm and inclusive" welcome. What a joke. Dividing us on race won't help social cohesion. I'm sick of these welcome to country's being played everywhere - before every zoom and teams meeting, every time a plane is landed and on and on. There is only one solution to bring us together. We need to unite under one national flag and say we are all equal and all Australians, regardless of race, colour or creed.

SHAMEFUL!!! The Govt. of WB is currently restoring the colour of road dividers according to international standards, i.e., yellow, white, and black. But people have already started spitting gutkha stains on them. I urge Agnimitra Paul BJP ma'am and Umesh Rai sir to make an app where ordinary citizens like us can report people who spit gutkha everywhere with proof, resulting in them being fined. A 20% reward could be given to the person who reports it. People of Bengal love getting free money; I'm sure this will greatly improve the situation. P.S.: If you're trying to blame people from UP and Bihar for this, let me tell you the number of dehati Bengalis is no less either. If you want proof, just take any of the following: * Sealdah–Hasnabad Local * Sealdah–Krishnanagar Local * Howrah–Katwa Local Your belief that Bengalis are the most superior race will definitely change.

On a Thursday in 2010, we slipped into our monochromatic neons, ventured to a local park, and tried to manipulate the very fabric of time. We couldn’t quite sort out the whole general relativity thing, so we instead opted for a 21-hour interpretive dance and a series of high-speed cameras with hot-swappable data cards. (Good enough.) The fastest we recorded was 172,800x, condensing a full day into one half-second. The slowest was 1/32, stretching that same half-second into 16—and giving this four-minute music video a timescale ratio of 5.5 million. To pull the whole stunt off, we enlisted the help of two all-around cool artists: Jeff Lieberman and Eric Gunther. A huge thank you to both of them—and to our media darling, Orange Bill, of whom this post is in loving memory. This song, “End Love,” is from “Of the Blue Colour of the Sky,” an album we released 15 years ago. Well—almost. Remember to say “Happy Birthday” this Sunday. And remember to pre-save our NEW song, “A Stone Only Rolls Downhill,” which will be available everywhere on 1/16. (Psst: There’s a music video coming, too.)
