Recent weeks show an extremely unfavorable trend for Russia in the Russian-occupied Crimea. Special units of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence, Special Operations Forces (SSO), and Navy systematically carry out precision strikes on key Russian air defense, aviation, naval, and logistics facilities on the peninsula. In 2025 alone, a single Defense Intelligence special unit, Prymary, has struck/destroyed/damaged around 70 units of valuable Russian equipment in Crimea, worth approximately $4.2 billion. Ukrainian Defenders have turned the peninsula into a true military trap, a place where extremely scarce equipment is destroyed. Russians can't leave Crimea undefended, but they also can't maintain costly systems there. They are consistently operating at a loss. Chronology: ▪️ August 22 - Khersones airfield: drone base destroyed; ▪️ August 26 - logistics facilities supporting the operational and combat supply of Russian army units disabled; ▪️ August 28 - small missile ship Project 21631 Buyan-M destroyed; ▪️ August 28 - HUR hit the radar of an S-400 system; ▪️ August 30 - SSO repeated the trick, this time targeting an S-300 radar; ▪️ August 31 - Prymary sent a whole collection of rare radars to the scrap yard: Utyos-T, RT-70, GLONASS, MR-10M1 Mys, and 96L6-AP from S-400; ▪️ September 1 - HUR burned two Mi-8 helicopters at an airbase near Simferopol and hit a tugboat in Sevastopol; ▪️ September 1 - Flamingo missiles attacked one of the Russian border guard bases near Armiansk; ▪️ September 9 - special forces hit Russian air defenses: Podlet and RLM-M radars from the Nebo-M system destroyed; ▪️ September 11 - Ukrainian Navy destroyed the communications hub of the Russian Black Sea Fleet (which managed fleet units) at the 184th Research Experimental Base in Sevastopol; ▪️September 21 - Prymary destroyed three Mi-8 helicopters and 55Zh6M Nebo-U radar in Yevpatoria; ▪️ September 22 - Prymary burned two Be-12 amphibious anti-submarine aircraft Chayka; ▪️ September 25 - Two Russian An-26 cargo aircraft destroyed in Russian occupied Crimea. Prymary unit also hit a Russian surface radar station and the coastal radar MP-10M1 Cape M1;
