Ranjeet Brar speaks for the CPGB-ML at an emergency demonstration against the illegal and immoral US invasion of Venezuela at the US Embassy in London today, 3rd January 2026. The US embassy - this bomb-proof structure erected in nine Elms, London - is trespassing upon our nation. It is a centre of international terrorism and has no place here. Of course, it finds its complement in the criminal Imperialist government of Britain. The Bank of England holds £2bn worth of venezuelan gold, confiscated to destabilise the government and inflict pain on the people of Venezuela. The US intervention today, like the preceding bombing of small boats and seizure of oil tankers over the last weeks, is international piracy and terrorism, without even a semblance or pretence at legality or any finer motive. The best trump can maintain is that Venezuela is a narco state. When US is in reality the chief natco state. There is no significant drug cultivation or cartel on Venezuelan soil - up to the point of US invasion. This is a war for despoliation, plunder and robbery. It is a war for oil, for lithium, for gold, for the “right” to exploit the venezuelan working class. It is a war of colonial conquest and plunder. It is a gross violation of international law. The US, together with Britain is the chief instrument of terrorism in the world today. We demand an end to the war on Venezuela. We demand the removal of this US embassy - a US military and CIA encampment in the heart of london - from British Soil. We demand the closure and withdrawal of all US bases from the british isles and territories. We demand that Britain leaves NATO and abandons the policy of illegal intervention across the world. We demand the release and restoration of Venezuela’s democratically elected president, comrade Nicholas Maduro. We stand with the Venezuelan people. We stand with the PSUV and the mass resistance of the people of Venezuela. This is not the end of the story - just the beginning of another bloody chapter of us imperial intervention. Death to Imperialism! Victory to Venezuela! Workers of all countries unite!

🟥 United Kingdom | Policing, Speech, and Due Process 🔳 This morning, Dr Rahmeh Aladwan Dr Rahmeh Aladwan was arrested again reportedly for a new social media post, while under bail conditions. ▪️ This is being described online as her third arrest. ▪️ It is being framed by supporters as a pattern of escalation against pro-Palestine speech. 🔳 What makes this case even more alarming: police reportedly travelled from London and stayed overnight in Bristol ahead of the arrest. ▪️ That level of deployment is not “routine”. ▪️ It signals intent: preparation, persistence, and pressure. 🔳 We can believe in law and due process while still recognising when state power becomes excessive. ▪️ Arrest is a serious power. ▪️ Repeated arrest without clear public resolution becomes a punishment in itself. ▪️ If this becomes normal, it will not stop with one doctor. 🔳 You do not have to agree with everything a person has ever said to defend the principle at stake. ▪️ Political speech should not be managed through intimidation. ▪️ A democracy does not police dissent into silence. 🔳 If you are concerned, you can take lawful action by making enquiries and raising concerns directly. ▪️ 📞 Patchway Police Centre ▪️ 0117 998 9112 ▪️ Press option 9 for custody enquiries 🔳 Ask calmly and respectfully: ▪️ What the current custody status is. ▪️ What the alleged basis for arrest is (in general terms). ▪️ Whether the approach being used is proportionate. 🔳 Support Dr Rahmeh. 🔳 Ask questions. 🔳 Demand accountability. ▪️ Because this should alarm everyone. This speech that George Galloway the leader of the Workers Party of Britain did last night moved me beyond words. I wanted to share this with you all. Listen to the end you will be moved. This is one of the most significant anniversaries, and it is being used to justify genocide against the #Palestinian 🇵🇸 people and now the #Lebanese 🇱🇧 people. On the 7th of October, 1944, Auschwitz-Birkenau witnessed an uprising by Jewish prisoners. Their story, is told by George Galloway, highlights the meaning of resistance and why tyranny is always resisted by humanity. It reminds us that standing against oppression is a fundamental human impulse. What deeply troubles me right now is the attitude of those who support Palestine, particularly the leadership within the Palestinian solidarity campaign PSC. They have sidelined George Galloway, who has been one of the most consistent and powerful advocates for the Palestinian cause since the 1980s. I cannot comprehend why he has been excluded from the platform when Britain is raising its voice against these atrocities. It seems there is an agenda at play that does not fully align with the unwavering support for the Palestinian people. When you silence a voice that has been the strongest advocate of our time—one who speaks for Palestine and Lebanon—you are not serving the cause of justice. Instead, you are doing the work of those who seek to oppress. I urge the leaders of the PSC to reconsider their exclusion of George Galloway, Chris Williamson, Craig Murray, and other members of the Workers Party, who have devoted their lives to keeping the Palestinian cause at the heart of our party’s mission. MANIPUR VIOLENCE AND DECEITFUL IMMIGRANT KUKI As I mentioned, they (Kuki immigrants) are exceptionally deceitful Christians, using religion as a mere ticket for all forms of unholy activities like Drugs and arms trafficking, opium Poppy cultivations, encroachments in reserved forest areas, occupying indigenous people’s territories, attack other faiths around them and mobilise charity aids & funds and freebies from across the Philanthropic Christian world. The video shows A Kuki Christian pastor from Manipur originated from Myanmar with guns speaks the most unholy things against the Lord's wisdom. Amen. "Be wary of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves." - Matthew 7:15 (ESV) Reiterating: Christianity serves Kuki immigrant groups as a multifaceted tool: 1. Misleading the Christian world for financial support. 2. Using religion to encroach on and occupy land. 3. Employing violence under the pretext of faith. 4. Leveraging religion for access to welfare schemes. 5. Expanding their global network within the international Christian community. 6. Mobilizing aid through deceptive means from the Christian world. I repeat: "Be wary of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves." - Matthew 7:15 (ESV) This verse echoes the caution against deceitful individuals who use a facade of righteousness for ulterior motives, aligning with the concerns raised about certain practices within the Kuki immigrant groups. Nazi-style targeted killings and torture began under Yunus’s watch and are still continuing under the BNP regime. On the anniversary of the Awami League, a man over 70 years old was subjected to medieval-style torture by members of the BNP’s student wing in broad daylight. Despite being the victim, he was later taken into police custody, while those accused of carrying out the attack faced no consequences. If participating in a political rally is considered a crime in a democratic country, then the very definition of democracy must be rewritten. The Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP has embarked on a fascistic form of politics in which party-backed violence and state institutions are being used to suppress dissenting voices. One should not forget that the Awami League is a major political party with millions of activists and supporters. Therefore, the way Awami League leaders and activists are being killed in police custody and subjected to abuse and torture will have repercussions throughout society, and those repercussions could be severe. Saudis noted India’s failure to defy US over Chabahar port, analyst says India poured huge resources into Iran’s Chabahar port, including the $500 million announced by PM Modi in 2016. Speaking on the Cineink Podcast London Varta, Dr Ayesha Siddiqa (Senior Fellow in War Studies at King’s College London) put it bluntly: “India made significant investments on Chabahar in Iran, yet when the moment came it was unable to stand up to America diplomatically. That revealed something to Saudi Arabia about the limits of India who could not stand up to the USA.” She is careful to note that the issue is not a lack of concern inside India. Rather, what is emerging is a new medium- to long-term alignment in the region. “Do not forget the background: America is withdrawing. Three years ago, when talk of the Quad was at its height, the narrative was that America and India would stand together against China. Pakistan barely featured. The scenario now taking shape is different.” She added: An alternative security framework is taking shape in the Arab world under a different set of understandings. Whether or not Pakistan ever actually fights a war with Israel or anyone else is almost secondary. The architecture itself is being built. India’s position in this shifting landscape is characteristically complex. It stands with Israel, yet for its energy, connectivity and strategic needs it must still negotiate with Iran and keep channels open with Saudi Arabia. The scale of mutual investment between India and Saudi Arabia is now so large that no one is about to tear up those ties simply because of Pakistan. Riyadh has long supported India’s position on Article 370 and is not about to go to war over Kashmir. We strongly condemn the brutal murder of Masud Rana and Raihan, two young leaders of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BSL), who were brutally hacked to death last night in Mallickpur Bazar. Their only “crime” was writing “Joy Bangla” on a wall—a slogan that united the nation in the fight for freedom during the Liberation War of 1971. This heinous act, reportedly carried out by BNP-Jamaat militants supported by Yunus, is a direct attack on the values of our independence. These extremist forces now treat “Joy Bangla”—the rallying cry of our martyrs—as a treasonous act. The media’s silence only deepens the injustice, serving as a calculated tool of this fascist #Yunus regime, ensuring the voices of victims are buried and the truth remains hidden. This bloodshed cannot continue. Muhammad Yunus and his Jamaat-Shibir allies must be held accountable for their betrayal of the nation’s liberation values and the violence they propagate. The world must condemn this tyranny and stand with the people of Bangladesh. #JusticeForMasudAndRaihan #JoyBangla #BangladeshCrisis #EndFascism #StepDownYunus . . . . .
