I went to a Gangstarr concert and afterwards they were playing the instrumental of “Come clean” before it came out. I spoke to GURU as he was speaking to the fans and asked him “What song is that?” and he told me was one of his new artists’”Jeru”

I swear when This dropped,From the 1st Sound in the intro ppl went Crazy.I mean this would literally make ppl go Off Hit back then,True Story 💯💯😤😤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

One of my favorite beats ever

This was probably the first time I heard something & was like WTF is this! I was mesmerised from the start! 🔥 Jeru was the man, from his cameos on the Gangstarr albums through his singles…in my eyes he was the best rapper around for that period.
