“The last time that we were touring and stuff, I think touring is quite an isolating experience. And on top of that, when we started touring, it was 2021, so it was kind of like still depths of the pandemic. We were like one of the first tours to go back out. So I think that tour started in that way where it was like, I was really bubbled up even kind of within the tour. And then staying on that tour, we put an album out and it ended up being like two and a half years type time. It's just a long time to be in like a bubble where you're not really spending that much time like in the world around you, other than shows and hotels and stuff. And when I finished, I kind of went off and was spending a lot of time in Italy, and was kind of like having this quiet time, and I was just feeling a lot of my life as I was kind of like, craving like quiet and kind of like private spaces. I was just feeling myself kind of like shut out a lot of the world, “I think, and I think the last couple of years for me was about, you know, there's a lot of things that I think I got used to saying no to, like invites from friends and like maybe a weekend trip or like a birthday party or something. After opening rounds of 67 and 68, Justin Thomas has shot his lowest 36 hole total of the season to be T3 at the Truist Championship. Thought today was another really good Scottie Scheffler presser but particularly this answer when talking about dealing with the pressure of the career Grand Slam. "It's kind of a funny thing. It's like, yeah, if I win this tournament, that would be amazing, but I think then I show up the next week, and it's like, okay, now Scottie's won the grand slam, he's won all these golf tournaments. Now where do we go from here? So no matter what, I think as a player and as a professional athlete, you're never going to live up to the expectations of people. I think sometimes that's a little bit of the fallacy in our sport is like, if I win the U.S. Open, then I'm going to be satisfied. I've won all the tournaments, and my career is essentially over, and I've accomplished everything I could want to accomplish. But I think the goal posts are always just moved further and further. a moment when MY healed you the most? 🌙 during fansign, a MY came up to me and for no particular reason said "i'm always on aeri's side, no matter what" , "i just really like aeri" and when i heard that, i think i really felt a sense of fulfillment about the work that i do. It also made me think a lot about the fact that people like me and of course i'm grateful but i think that's when i truly realized "this is a really happy moment." like that.

Bryson DeChambeau shot a final round 65 to finish 3rd at LIV Golf Korea, just 1 shot out of the playoff. He said after the round that the improvement was due to the work he did with Gemini AI after the 71 on Saturday: “Yeah, the beginning of the first round I felt great. Golf swing felt in sync and then it started getting out of sync and it felt like my hands were getting ahead of me. It continued that way for the next two rounds, and it was very frustrating. “I spent some long hours on the range trying to figure some stuff out and I was talking to AI quite a bit last night trying to go through some different physics principles that makes the club turn over, having some alpha torque and gamma torque put in there. I was like, what makes that possibly do that, and was talking about just grip pressure and tension. “So I came out here today with just a little bit more freer hands, and I felt the club a lot better, and I felt like I could close the club a lot more effectively and then I started striping it. “From then on out, I was able to kind of control it. Still missed some wedges to the right coming in, which is kind of frustrating, but that's just me holding on a little bit rather than just letting it go. “I feel like I'm on the right path now, and I had it okay in the first round, but really felt it -- I felt really good this round. Bryson DeChambeau shot a final round 65 to finish 3rd at LIV Golf Korea, just 1 shot out of the playoff. He said after the round that the improvement was due to the work he did with Gemini AI after the 71 on Saturday: “Yeah, the beginning of the first round I felt great. Golf swing felt in sync and then it started getting out of sync and it felt like my hands were getting ahead of me. It continued that way for the next two rounds, and it was very frustrating. “I spent some long hours on the range trying to figure some stuff out and I was talking to AI quite a bit last night trying to go through some different physics principles that makes the club turn over, having some alpha torque and gamma torque put in there. I was like, what makes that possibly do that, and was talking about just grip pressure and tension. “So I came out here today with just a little bit more freer hands, and I felt the club a lot better, and I felt like I could close the club a lot more effectively and then I started striping it. “From then on out, I was able to kind of control it. Still missed some wedges to the right coming in, which is kind of frustrating, but that's just me holding on a little bit rather than just letting it go. “I feel like I'm on the right path now, and I had it okay in the first round, but really felt it -- I felt really good this round. I felt better than I did in the first round, which is a good trend. “Hopefully it continues, and I'm just continuing to learn. That's the thing; this game is so brutal. Missing two cuts at the majors and you feel like you're golden going in there, won a couple events and playing well, and this game can kick you when you're at your highest. “It goes for all of us, not just me. It's everybody here. Everybody wants to win. “I think that's the beautiful part about golf is that it can kick you when you're at your highest or it can bring you up when you're at your lowest, and yet we have to respect the game for that. “So I felt great. Didn't feel great in the middle of the tournament, but then the last round today I felt a lot better. “I'm proud of the way I persevered to finish third without really anything.” And then spoke about the Gemini assisted practice session he had at 8pm: “I was slamming the club in the ground trying to figure out what to do. I was frustrated. Been trying everything in my body. I didn't actually figure it out on the range. I went back and started talking to Gemini and trying to figure out just what it could be to passively make the club turn over. Hands just felt like they were moving forward like this and I couldn't get the club to turn over. Denzel Washington’s epic monologue towards the end of Training Day was largely improvised on set. Director Antoine Fuqua was so blown away by his performance, he says he thinks he "forgot to yell cut”. He explains… “That’s Denzel. He was just in his zone. I mean, that was one of those moment...people talk about AI. Those are the moments where you go...it's a great tool. It's gonna be a great tool, I think...but the emotion, and the moment that an actor can bring - you can't predict that. That's something that's just inside of Denzel. And when that came out, I was just like - I hope I got it. I just turned to my operator - who was shaking- I looked over at the guy - I was like, “please tell me you got that.” Because that was the take. That was it. There was no other take - I mean, how do you tell an actor like that, that that wasn't good enough? …He walked over to me, and he just had this look in his eyes. I was like, “you good?” He said, “you good?” I said, “Yeah…” Some of that was in the script, but he flipped it the way he did it. "Putting cases on all you." He kind of added some things in there. And then he just went into a whole other zone with the whole King Kong thing- with Pelican Bay - Denzel started that. That was Denzel. That was him, man. I was just watching it, because everybody started walking away, and I'm just watching him, and then he lights a cigarette - and he's talking - and I'm just watching him. Provided an interesting nugget about Shinnecock watering every day at 2 p.m. for members. “It’s a unique golf course,” McIlroy said. “The members at Shinnecock will tell you they do that every single day—every single day at this course the members play they put water on the course at 2 p.m. So, it’s a unique golf course and it seems like it’s just something they have to do. “For me it’s more... my concern was you don’t want it to look as if you’ve lost the golf course, and you’re starting to put water on it, which I don’t think is what they’re going to do. I think, especially with the heaviness of the wind on Thursday, it’s probably prudent to do that. “Friday doesn’t look as windy, but I think just for, again, fairness and competitive integrity, they do it on Friday, too. But I think they’ve got enough bandwith on the weekend that they probably don’t need to do it. So, I understand it.
