This isn’t how I personally do my braids but I find alot of people prefer this method while learning how to grip

Knotless will last longer if you go ahead and put the hair in before the first loop. When you part the hair in the 1 2 3. Put the braiding hair under 1 and 3, first loop, then add another small piece of hair to 2, loop and repeat til it’s the size u want. No frizzy roots for me

@honeiibunniiii I also find that instead of feeding the hair in and just use the three strand method from the gate you end up with much smaller knots. It’ll look knotless but with all the security
