📥Please read: My heart is broken… 😭our dreams and hard work have been shattered.💔 After five years of effort and study, I graduated from university with a degree in Mechatronics Engineering, despite difficult financial circumstances. Before the war, I worked on graduation projects for university students in exchange for a small amount of money to cover my basic needs. I dreamed of working for a company abroad, as I believed in my abilities and knew I could be creative in my field. After graduation, I completed English and German language studies within two years. Learning English was easy for me because my entire five-year university education was in English. My last project was a line-following robot that detects and follows a black track using sensors. But today… instead of celebrating success, we find ourselves in tents, crying from hunger, trying only to survive, and struggling to stop the tears of starving children. #Hyderabad--- With slogans: ‘Reclaim our Land’, and ‘Reclaim our Rocks’, students of the University of Hyderabad Students’ Union 2024-25 have taken up a protest for the protection of the 400 acres of land in #KanchaGachibowli. The Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (TSIIC) recently announced the auction of 400 acres of land in Kancha Gachibowli, Serilingampally Mandal, Hyderabad. The land incorporates the Mushroom Rock area in the University of Hyderabad, near its East Campus. The auction was scheduled between March 8 and 15. On Thursday, the University of Hyderabad Students’ Union 2024-25 gave a call for a protest at the site of the ongoing bulldozing. Hundreds of students, faculty members, university staff and environmental activists gathered at the East Campus and marched to save the land. Kancha Gachibowli is one of the few remaining urban forests in Hyderabad. This habitat hosts a wide range of birds and animals.

Sharing a milestone that fills our hearts with immense gratitude. Today, we watched our son, Aujaswi, receive the University Gold Medal from the Chief Justice of India (Who is also Chancellor of NUJS) for securing Rank 1 at NUJS Kolkata. 🎓 To be honoured with the Dr Madhav Menon University Gold Medal, named after the father of modern legal education, is a dream come true. Beyond being the overall topper, earning Gold Medals in 7 individual subjects is a testament to his relentless dedication to the law. The road was long, but seeing his hard work recognized at the highest level makes every late night worth it. Proud is an understatement! ❤️⚖️ NUJS Kolkata

This is Dr. Judy Luu, MD/PhD. Judy Luu, MD/PhD Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. Most women don’t recognize heart disease as a cause of death. This is a big problem. Judy shared a bunk bed with me until high school. The odds were against her to succeed from the beginning. Today, she spends most of her time saving lives. I’m proud of her! She's a cardiologist specializing in women's heart health. We’re supporting her vision to reduce the burden of heart disease for women from marginalized and vulnerable populations worldwide. Please vote for my sister Judy to raise funds for her research! ➡️

It was engineered and orchestrated by the Mssn Amir. This is uncalled for should be dealt with before everything escalates into a scary state of unimaginative magnitude. Similar event once happened in ABU zaria, and our brother stood their ground until justice is meted. Here’s to UNIMAID ALUMNI FCT CHAPTER amebogist and Mukhtar Ahmed Jada who happens to be spokeperson of the VC, take this into account and do the needful. This is a threat to the gamut peace of the university. Live and let others live!

I was at Mahindra University in Hyderabad Mahindra University last weekend, to preside, as Chancellor, over our 4th Annual Convocation. A particularly exciting feature of the trip was to see the innovation that is bubbling up all over the different Schools in the University. The diversity of the projects was energizing. A couple of examples: The Engineering School students have developed an autonomous E-shuttle that will be able to provide point-to-point unmanned transportation around the 100 acre campus. And Santosh, a new faculty member of the School of Design Innovation, showcased a line of footwear he had conceptualised (along with IIT Madras and ISB) using Gongadi fabric, woven from the coarse, warm wool of native sheep breeds. For centuries, it’s been made by local weavers for tribal and pastoral communities to keep warm in the chilly winters of the Deccan plateau. He’s adapted it to make footwear that local farmers can use which is easy to clean and maintain despite usage in muddy terrain and hopes to take the project forward at Mahindra University Universities must, and will leverage innovation that improves the quality of our lives…

Look at this smile. This is Yair Avitan, a lion of Israel, filmed just moments before heading into the heart of Gaza to defend our home. He wasn't walking into battle with fear; he was walking with a joy that only a true hero understands - the joy of protecting his family, his people, and his land. As a father, it’s hard to find the words. It is a terrifying mix of a trembling heart and infinite pride. To know that our sons go into the fire with such light in their eyes, fully aware of the price they might pay, is the ultimate testament to the Jewish spirit. Yair fell in battle, but that smile - that pure, holy devotion - will never be extinguished. He didn't just fight for a piece of land, he fought for our right to exist. We owe him, and all our fallen brothers, a debt we can only repay by living with the same courage they showed. Yair Avitan, your sacrifice is engraved in the heart of our nation forever. May your memory be a revolution of strength for all of us. 🕯️🇮🇱 💔
