Namjoon about Like Animals💜 🐨: Like Animals.. 🐨: This was another song that originally came out of the pre-sessions, and it was actually a really sexual song at first. The lyrics were kind of like… you know? ‘If you wanna be animals, baby we can be animals…’ 🐨: And then what was the next line again? Something like ‘living in pain is beautiful’ maybe? It had this whole sadism-masochism kind of vibe — basically a song about becoming wild like animals together. 🐨: But we felt that releasing something overtly sexual wasn’t really the right timing for us right now, so we changed it into a song more about drawing out instinct and raw emotion instead. 🐨: Though honestly, I do think going fully sexual with it could’ve worked too. The sound itself already has this naturally sexy atmosphere to it. I personally really love ‘Like Animals.’ 🐨: I really like psychedelic music, and this was a style we’d never tried before. Artemas helped a lot with that kind of sound too. We felt like we needed sounds like this to move forward and evolve. We can’t just keep doing the same things we’ve always done.
