In the age of cancel culture it is a very very dangerous thing to do to be a stand-up comedian. Why do you think the comedian Steve Harvey gave up comedy. I watch the video on YouTube where Steve Harvey explained because of the cancel culture that he simply could not continue to do stand-up comedy. When you're doing stand-up comedy, comedy has to be about people because people is worth the fun and laughter is that. You can only do so many jokes about fences and dogs before that gets all worn out. And because of that if I stay in comedy sooner or later I'm going to say something that's going to offend somebody. If that happens one sponsor will pull and then all sponsors will pull away from me. And my career is over. I would lose family feud and everything that I work hard for. That's why Steve Harvey quit comedy and those were his very own words
