our account has history, so before we launch our next game, we want to be transparent. our previous game was Ronen Mining Network on Ronin. what we achieved: • reached a 19M market cap • NFTs traded over 10M RON in total volume • mint price was 3 RON, with a floor price reaching 50 RON (16.7x) • some rare NFTs sold for over 500x their mint price unlike many NFT projects during that cycle that sold NFTs and disappeared, we launched our game within the first week and kept it running for over 6 months. what went wrong? we've never hidden it. • Ronin dropped from around $0.70 to $0.10 (today around $0.06) • the economy relied on a mining model with ponzinomics, something we openly disclosed from day one • the gameplay loop eventually became repetitive • development costs became too expensive to sustain we learned from every mistake. instead of making another mining game, we decided to build something with proven gameplay that millions of players across Southeast Asia already enjoy. introducing... Very Very Important (Must Read) If you’re a motion designer, this will be super useful for you. (Raw & Real) Coming to the point— This is my last post of 2025. Bad start but great ending—overall a good year. After creating so many motion ads and working with some really big brands. I want to drop a few hard-earned learnings: 1. Master the language of motion before flexing effects. Every ease, every transition has to feel intentional and purposeful. It must follow natural laws(Anticipation, Overshoot) and have personality. 2. Always create at least a rough storyboard to show your vision to the client. I made this mistake once, and we had to restart the entire motion video from scratch. 3. Undercutting your rates makes you forgettable. Premium pricing = smoother projects, deeper respect, and clients who value your craft. 4. Build your own taste. Most designers are copying others’ work—mostly Zelios-inspired right now. In the beginning it’s okay, but if you want to stand out and create great work, your motion must feel unique. You can achieve this with different structures, storyboards inspired by diverse areas, and fewer, more reasonable colors. 5. Don’t just practice—also analyze and study deeply. Note down what the best ones are doing, frame by frame. 6. Go into a niche. SaaS isn’t only niche. When people say “SaaS is the next big trend,” they often just want to sell you their course. There are so many more areas in motion: type animation, titles, UI animation, collage, mixed media, and many more. This isn’t all—I’ll share more and more value in the coming year. Unitree did $246 million in revenue last year, up 335% year over year, and they are actually profitable. Figure AI is valued at $39 billion with near zero revenue and is still private. Unitree wants $7 billion with real numbers. The price point is what separates them from everyone else. Their G1 humanoid sells for $13,500. Competitors charge $50,000 to $130,000. Their newest R1 humanoid launching in April starts at $4,900. Nothing comparable exists at that price anywhere in the world. They hold roughly 32% of the global humanoid market and 70% of the quadruped market. The moat is vertical integration. They self develop over 90% of core components including motors, reducers, controllers, sensors, and all software. Real clients include PetroChina, Sinopec, State Grid, and China Mobile. This is not a research project. Product is shipping at scale. This is listing on China's STAR Market, not Hong Kong, not the US, which makes access extremely difficult for international investors. We simulated real data from different Uniswap v3 pools on Jediswap. We achieved a 100% match in the contract state after each on-chain action, such as swaps and liquidity adjustments, bolstering our confidence in our code's security. Info for new readers: For those unfamiliar with the PMC model, find full weekly reports for the past 14+ months at The models combine data from IHME, Biobot, and CDC to use wastewater to estimate case levels (r = .93 to .96) and forecast levels the next month based on typical levels for that date and recent patterns of changes in transmission the past 4 weeks. Our work has been cited in top scientific journals and media outlets, which are fully sourced in a detailed technical appendix at Examples include JAMA Onc, JAMA-NO, BMC Public Health, Time, People, TODAY, the Washington Post, the Institute for New Economic Thinking, Salon, Forbes, the New Republic, Fox, CBS, and NBC. ✨New demo: what if vibe coding felt more visual? Brian Lovin Mary Rose Cook and I did a game jam using Notion as our "IDE": launching Cursor agents from a task board, and making a custom image for each task 😎 The demo shows 3 ideas for the future of agents: 1) Agents should collaborate across apps. Each app has its focus--Notion AI is good at drafting specs and organizing tasks; Cursor is good at coding. So let them specialize! Today we're launching a new integration where Notion AI can kick off Cursor Cloud Agents to do coding tasks. The Cursor API accepts natural language prompts, so I think of this as "cross-app sub-agents" -- it's kinda cute how it resembles humans hiring outside contractors 😊 BTW: the parallelism of cloud agents is incredibly freeing for creativity, but it also creates a new problem: sooo much work to keep track of! Which brings us to the next idea... 2) Agent orchestration is a data visualization problem. A powerful frame for designing agent UIs is to think of the chat transcripts as the "raw data" and ask: what visual projections might help people make sense of this data at scale? We need to engage our human GPUs -- our visual processing -- to understand what the computer GPUs are doing for us! One thing we can do is use AI to populate traditional UIs like progress bars and status updates. But there are also new possibilities now... For example: when you have a lot going on, it can be hard to identify tasks just by text titles. So we tried generating an AI image for each task -- turns out this helps a lot by giving it a unique visual identity! And of course, it also just makes it super fun to build with friends 😃 Speaking of friends... 3) The future of coding is collaborative. Sometimes it feels like IC engineers are being reduced to middle managers: shuffling information between the team's context and the coding agents that they individually manage. The solution: bring all the people and agents into one shared space, with shared context and visibility! In the video you can get a glimpse of how this feels. Mary, Brian and I record ourselves chatting about ideas, and then we use AI to turn that conversation into a list of tasks on a shared board. As the ideas get built in parallel, we can all monitor progress and review the work together, nothing is siloed. My main takeaway from this game jam was: damn, creativity with friends, at the speed of conversation, is incredibly fun. --- Our goal here is to let anyone use Notion as a fun and creative "software factory" to build software together with your team. Give the Cursor integration a shot and let us know what you think!
