If the LLM could see the terminal it would be good. Otherwise, I don't really see how this is useful?

it can even if not, still useful because it always opens where you are :)

(I will post another demo with that later, it's not quite working yet)

I struggle to see what this is useful for.

if you are working with agents a lot you are doing things all over the place. this just makes it easy to quickly pop into reality to double-check the agent or do something manually. your workflow may not need it

why not just ctrl+z, fg? (which btw, I hate you can't do that with grok's CLI, they overrode ctrl+z)

these are per-session terminals, and they are created where the session is

can the harness look into what you're doing on that terminal?

ping

yes

👏 ok, that's cool then! gonna have to switch from opencode to opencode2

so terminal -> opencode TUI -> terminal

@thdxr Beautiful

@thdxr that's cool but right now it doesn't seem like the agent sees the terminal output, which would be insanely good. And even better you should make it so we're able to reference a certain command we ran in the terminal.

@opencode that’s pretty cool

Can we launch opencode in that terminal 😬

so i can have my model ssh into my server and get into the server terminal?!

niceeeee

@thdxr Gotta come with a warning, I’ll forget it’s a terminal in opencode and launch opencode in the terminal and need another terminal and forget it’s in opencode again🥴

If agent can switch the root location, then it can run on any dir which doesn't intend to. Instead of relying on harness structure we would be relying on llm to enforce a rule. I don't see any good in this.

opencode with `/terminal` mid-session is the part i've been waiting for. does it persist across agent steps or reset each time?

this new function is used to check git log using the new teriminal? 🤔

This is why I stopped using opencode and moved to a custom pi config. You guys are doing too much. Just use tmux bro

just split panel on herdr

that already exists, it’s called “ctrl+z”

"clear" to exit?

why not update the documents and mention to use tmux directly 🙂

@opencode please please please @Teknium can you implement this into Hermes??

Terminal access wherever your session lives, opencode keeps flexing.

I need this right now, gib me NOW! not soon.

Maybe we don’t need tmux after all

Yuuuuusaa

Holy I needed that. Wen land plox <3

a little voice narration overlay would go a long way here

Would be very useful indeed

@nexxeln Man that music was in point 🔥

@opencode When will you add the "goal" feature? Everything else is perfect you guys are awesome but I really notice the lack of the "goal" feature

does /terminal preserve cwd after reconnects, because session portability breaks when it resets

it's running on the opencode server so it survives everything, it will die with the server dies

@opencode Finally!!!!! 🎉

Huge, literally reaching for this every day currently, !some_command doesn’t really cut it.

didnt understand the video... what is the feature

tmux: super + %
