Sanders: We are the wealthiest nation in the history of the world. There is no excuse for 800,000 people to be sleeping out on the streets. There is no excuse for 20 million people paying 40-50% of their limited incomes for housing… We should not be the only major nation on earth not to guarantee healthcare to all people as a human right. The function of a healthcare system is not to make billions in profits for the drug companies and the insurance companies.. it is to provide quality care to all.

Imagine your street and a building in your street got bombed and destroyed by the Israeli jet fighters and there is a lot of injured people in the street and you want to help to take them to the hospital, but there is no hospital because the Israeli army invaded and closed all the streets that take you the Al-Shifa hospital from the early morning. So imagine where to go with the injured people, there is no ambulances, there is no nurses in the streets, the hospital is now closed. Even access to medial and support is not allowed.

This was at La Jolla Cove in La Jolla California. These people are swimming at the Cove but there is a good amount of Sea lions there. 😳 You can see one of the Sea lions almost run over a kid as it is trying to get back in the water and you can hear a voice over the loudspeaker telling people to please keep their distance from all the Sea lions. People argued about this saying that little beach was always meant for kids to swim at and has been that way for 40 years. But many others said that it has obviously changed and now we have Sea lions there and they should leave those Sea lions in peace and go find another beach. To me, the ocean, that is their home. There are plenty of other beaches to use. The people should be the ones to move, not the Sea lions. 💯 What is your opinion? Should they just keep it the way it is, let people around the Sea lions or should they close this small beach cove to the public in order to allow the Sea lions to be in peace?

The best one will get you there in 15 minutes, the worst one will get you there in half an hour… Or the best cook and the worst cook, maybe it’s 3-to-1… But in the field that I’m in. In software in particular. The difference between the best person and the worst person is about 100-to-1 or more.” He continues: “The difference between a good software person and a great software person is probably 50-to-1 or 25-to-1. Huge dynamic range. I went to one of the largest homeless encampment in Oregon, which is actually only about a mile from the state Capitol. It’s pretty shocking to walk-through. There’s definitely some good people living in there that need real help while others prefer to stay out there.
