I don’t think there is any other community who is so supportive of each other, while being ambitious to try to build great things alhamdulilah." We all left with huge determination to build impactful solutions for humanity, to encourage ihsaan (perfection) and and to bring some of our learnings from the Bay Area to our respective countries to help build Muslim tech ecosystems across the world. Instead of laying new cables, Chinese researchers have upgraded existing fiber infrastructure by doing two things at once: Using three wavelength bands (C + L + S) instead of the usual two. Using four cores inside each fiber instead of one. Each core acts like an independent highway, and each band acts like an extra lane on that highway. This exploration led me to create Daydreams.Systems (x402, 8004 agents), which focuses on the hardest problems of agents: long time-horizon goals using Hierarchical task networks (HTN). Daydreams agents don't require custom code—they work entirely based on 'sleeves'—which are just markdown files that explain how the agent can interact with the service (API docs, game guides, etc.) My thesis is simple. By focusing on the hardest problem (games), the design of the library will naturally lean towards an optimal structure for any problem an agent could face. Say hello to Boojum 👋: zkSync Era’s new high-performance proof system for radical decentralization. Boojum is an upgrade that will transition zkSync Era to a STARK-powered proof system, providing world-class performance on consumer-grade hardware. 💡 Learn more: TL;DR 👇 Boojum is the name of our Rust-based cryptographic library, which we use to implement the upgraded version of the ZK circuits for zkSync Era and the ZK Stack. The name Boojum was inspired by Lewis Carroll's poem "The Hunting of the Snark," where the Boojum represents the most fearsome kind of Snark. We intentionally designed zkSync Era in a way that cryptographic upgrades can be made without a regenesis, meaning that the Boojum upgrade won’t cause any user disruptions. Why Boojum❓ From day one, zkSync’s mission is to advance personal freedom for all — making digital self-ownership universally accessible by building a blockchain network that is trustless, secure, permissionless, affordable, easy to use, resilient and limitlessly scalable. Boojum plays an important role in advancing this mission by delivering: 1. World-class performance zkSync Era’s current SNARK-based proof system is effective today, but it won’t scale to the volume that we envision for hyperchains. zkSync Era’s sequencer can already process over 100 TPS; Boojum orders of magnitude improvements to performance complements this well. 2. Reduced hardware requirements for decentralization Our long-term goal is to enable user-powered, decentralized proof generation. Boojum represents a breakthrough in this direction — with the prover running on consumer-grade GPUs requiring only 16 GB GPU RAM. Vitaliks mandarin fluency is a super bullish signal for Ethereum 🐂 He had an open town hall at HK where community members asked him all sorts of questions, from the easy to the difficult The hard questions were all in Mandarin so i couldn't follow those 😅 At the town hall he laid out the guiding principle for Ethereum: cooperation without domination It's especially important in today's world where a powerful person dictates terms and others have to follow, or we have no cooperation & there's chaos What this means at a technical level is that Ethereums the world computer & we need to build enough trust that developers feel comfortable building apps on top of it. Solo staking, a conservative approach to changing the protocol etc are all part of this He also spoke on how new technology is a reset & creates a level playing field where the game starts again from zero with bringing a lot more people right to the frontier We are seeing this with AI (and zk too), where a noob developer can still catch up to a veteran with good prompt engineering. He shared his own experience of building an android app for the first time using AI despite having no prior experience in it Before people would say that EF needs to write more documentation. Now it's more relevant to show how deep seek integrations with solidity and Java can help easily create new Ethereum apps He sees AI as making it much easier for newcomers to build web3 apps & is making a push in this direction

Eleven years ago I founded my first startup. One of the first things I did was to get a desk at the startup coworking space at Google Campus in Old Street. Through that community, I met so many of the people who would shape my career and learned so much about what the startup ethos is truly about. As we have scaled Attio, we've partnered with Google Cloud to build on top of the mind blowing technologies they've created like Spanner, Colossus and Gemini to power a new generation of CRM for our customers. For all these reasons, Google is deeply woven into my startup journey and that makes today's announcement so special to me.
