La Fresa y El Pez, los líderes de La Familia Michoacana, no conocerán la paz en el año 2026. En 2022 habia un reportero llamado Alan Garcia Aguilar que trabajaba en Coyuca de Catalan, en su estado natal de Guerrero. Publicaba sus textos en una pagina de Facebook que el mismo administraba llamada Escenario Calentano. En algun momento de diciembre de 2022, Alan publico un mensaje en el que denunciaba al grupo criminal La Familia Michoacana (LFM) y las cuotas de extorsion que imponia a los comercios del norte de Guerrero. Alan escribio: “Alfredo o El Fresa. Ya deja en paz al pueblo. Deja que trabajen libremente, sin cuotas, sin estar subiendo los precios de acuerdo a tus necesidades. La economía fue para abajo desde que se empezó a meter la gobernadora. Fuera la delincuencia organizada.” En esa publicacion, Alan vinculo directamente al lider de la LFM, Jose Alfredo Hurtado Olascoaga, alias “La Fresa”, con la extorsion que estaba asfixiando la economia local. El 25 de diciembre de 2022, sicarios de la LFM irrumpieron en el domicilio de Alan y lo secuestraron. En los dias siguientes, los sicarios secuestraron a otros tres hombres a quienes creian que ayudaban con Escenario Calentano. Los sicarios grabaron un video en el que mostraban a Alan y a Fernando Moreno, quien trabajaba como administrador de la pagina, con las manos y los pies atados con pesadas cadenas de metal. Fernando dijo a la camara que ellos eran “parte del equipo de Escenario Calentano, estamos aquí pagando las consecuencias de las publicaciones que se realizaban”. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) says they have repeatedly reached out to the prosecutor’s office for updates on the investigation, but the office has refused to respond to their requests. This murder matters because Alan Garcia Aguilar was a proud son of Guerrero. He was never involved in cartel activity. The Text Me Back script is finished! 🥳🎉 This is probably the biggest achievement of my life. I have been through so much over the past year, and especially the last three months haven't been easy. But I kept pushing through even when it hurt because when you do, you make sure that one day it'll get easier. I'm so proud of this script. I've been writing novels and screenplays since I was a young teen, on and off, some years more off than on, but I've always kinda felt that my execution didn't live up to my ambitions. But this time, it's everything I wanted it to be and more. In fact, I'll say that it's better than I ever thought it could be. Of course, that's my extremely biased opinion, but I hope that you'll enjoy it just as much as I've enjoyed writing it. Well, that depends on the execution of the actual gameplay too, but I'm confident. I always say that if somebody else can do something, so can I. So, since the first Life is Strange is pretty close to what I want to do gameplay-wise, it's already been done. There's proof it's possible, and so it will be possible for me too. Now, I'll spend the next few weeks polishing the final episode. There are still some things I'm not fully satisfied with. Episode 5 is still a first draft. (I'll also share the final word count at that time. I'm a sucker for word counts.) So, after a couple of weeks, I'll finally start really getting into making the demo, and hopefully, this page will get more interesting as I can start to show things. Don't expect the world right away, but it'll get more and more exciting as we go. I promise. Thanks to all of you for sticking with me through this long writing process! D) She pointed out crores of people stand the risk of disenfranchisement because they may not have the time to get corrections done in such a short time due to the festivals and harvest season. 2) I heard whispers by some - “Ah, the DRAMA - Political Drama!” But why does no one notice the alleged DRAMA of the State Counsels, who need instructions, argue on technicalities and were willing to say anything that doesn’t require them to argue on merits today. When the State Counsels tried to stop her, CJI remarked - let her speak, she has travelled a long distance. (Mild laughter in court!) 3) What was most heartening is the abated breaths with which people heard on both sides - those who had managed to squeeze themselves and still keep standing in a full packed court! Most heartening personally was the eye glances - with women in the room - smiling softly - who knew what’s happening beyond what’s being said - the subtext! Lewis said so certain “that was the vision” So at that moment we exploded in a hug and joy! Together, last year we did a vision board with twin babies on it, so when we were walking into the clinic Lewis was certain we had two. I wasn’t sure. Cuz we had a scare. But he was so certain, cuz he has faith. In this process he has been so steady and calm in times I’ve been worried or anxious. This wasn’t the first time we heard the news, this was the ultrasound that confirmed it. He invited my mom cuz Lewis values the support mom gives us wives, during the process. “Our vision” turned into prayer saying may it be your will and not ours but if it pleases you, we’d like to have two at once, and God ever generous granted us our wish! Ha sido una larga aventura llena de amor y de retos físicos pero con la bendición de Dios, aquí estamos!! Pewbeam is live 🎉 This was just a dream, a dream I didn’t even know was possible—but I decided to pursue it anyway. Today, that dream is now a reality. We have a desktop app (Windows and macOS—this weekend) that can do all of this and even more. Over the last six months, I’ve pushed myself and my team hard, and I’ve seen people become hopeful and genuinely blessed by this product. I’ve received strong support from pastors, church members, techies, and several media houses and reporters. It has been a great honor to spend myself on something worthwhile. We’ve built an AI-native presentation app that displays relevant scriptures on screen in under 80 ms, without needing a volunteer. We’re starting with scriptures, but we’re growing into a comprehensive presentation software, with slides launching next month. From testing Pewbeam 2.0 is live🥳 in churches over the last four weeks, pastors have been able to focus on what matters instead of juggling or micromanaging the media team while preaching. Church members have been able to follow their pastor’s references in real time and take better notes. Turkey is our fifth-largest trading partner and we are the eighth-largest investor there. Turkey is undoubtedly a member of the European family. It is a strategic hub for energy matters, an ally within NATO (with the second-largest army after the US) and a key player in the security of Europe’s south-eastern flank. Beyond strengthening our economic cooperation, this mission has helped to bring our political relations closer together. It provided an opportunity for meetings at the highest level: President Erdoğan, Vice-President Yilmaz and numerous ministers, including my counterpart in Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, to discuss major international issues (the Middle East, the Strait of Hormuz, Ukraine…) as well as our bilateral relations and those with the EU. It was also an opportunity to reiterate that we must diversify our partners and bring the Turkish and European economies closer together, given the immense commercial potential this offers.
