BUZZ 🐝 A short sequence created using Nano Banana Pro and Grok imagine. I wanted to test Groks capabilities for action in motion. With Buzz leading the way, Tiny Timmy is having the absolute time of his life exploring the wondrous Flower Kingdom🌼 Tools for creation: - Nano Banana Pro was used to generate the base image and the additional camera angles. I wanted to personally see if I could just use 3 images so no 2x2 grid extraction technique for this but I did want to include each frame used so you can see how the sequence was combined. Grok Imagine was used for every sequence to bring it to life using image to video. - I did some post work in Capcut by adding some subtle bloom, radial motion blur and film grain as well. - I added additional sound effects by generating them using Elevenlabs and layering them (bee buzzing, flapping wings, wind and leaves rustling etc). The kids laughter was generated using Grok. The soundtrack was sourced from Artlist. It was fun testing this and putting it together just to see what Grok is capable of generating.

Painted sections of my face with face paint and used them to guide where the AI effect would appear. Using Wan 2.2 Animate in ComfyUI, I turned those areas into a robotic endoskeleton while leaving much of the original footage untouched. It's far from perfect, you'll notice some wiggles and lighting mismatches, but I love the idea of using AI to enhance real footage rather than replacing it entirely. Keeping those real-world elements can help effects feel more grounded while also opening up interesting possibilities for previs and creative experimentation.

Who remembers this classic shooter from 35 years ago? SWIV (or "Silkworm IV" as called by some) from 1991. Graphics and sound effects were excellent for its time. But what I liked the most was that you could toggle through the power ups by shooting at them when they dropped. It added some extra fun and complexity, it allowed you to really improve (or mess up!) your weapons path. The game was considered a spiritual successor to Tecmo's arcade game Silkworm from 1989. The game's heritage is evident from the game design whereby one player pilots a helicopter, and the other an armoured Jeep. SWIV is not an official sequel, as noted by ex-Sales Curve producer Dan Marchant: "SWIV wasn't really a sequel to Silkworm, but it was certainly inspired by it and several other shoot-'em-ups that we had played and loved." If you listen closely to the sound effects, you will definitely hear a resemblance to "Silkworm." Sometimes I would just let the intro run endlessly - the music was simply too good!

A Nikke OST every day for a year, day 14. “Scardi” This is another Nikke OST that is not made by Cosmograph, but instead Feryquitous. Technically, this is the OST that got me into Nikke OSTs. I remember when the game first came out, I looked around everywhere for this song. From what I remember, this was before the full OST albums were out, so hunting down individual tracks like this one wasn’t as easy as it is nowadays. This also meant that all the songs were uncredited. I remember people in the comment section of this very song thinking it sounded like something Feryquitous would make, but they couldn’t be sure. Bet they had a good laugh once the full versions and credits were out. Anyways, this song is a bit special to me for that reason. I absolutely love it, and it’s what introduced me to Feryquitous’ amazing work.

For all the pranks and joking Marie Osmond and I did on the Donny and Marie show, these segments were some of my favorites. I miss singing and dancing with my brothers. What I don’t miss are the hours and hours of rehearsals. But it sure paid off in the end because when we got out there on stage, it was pure joy. 💜 I love this clip! It may look like there’s a modern filter on the performance, but those of you who remember the 70’s technology, these were some of the best special effects we could get out of the cameras at that time. 📺😂 Today’s technology, but yesterday’s music. 🎤

I’m pleased to announce my first ever vinyl record as a solo artist. I started out rapping over jungle, grime and UK garage vinyl instrumentals on pirate radio stations, house parties and raves. This is taking it back to the essence for me, a full circle moment. I had always hoped to have my own vinyl record one day. My favourite classic LP’s all have vinyl records, so it feels like a blessing for me and ‘Being Poor is Expensive’ be able to have one too. The love for this album feels like it’s growing more and more everyday, it’s phenomenal. Thank you. The unique custom red vinyl is inspired by “A little bit of Luck” by DJ Luck and MC Neat on Red Rose Recordings and makes it feel even more special. Breathwork, pass two. Rebuilt some UI. Less “zen app”, more “panic-adjacent engineering”. Sound on 🔊 Prototyped in Framer Workshop while I attempt to gently reeducate a deeply suspicious nervous system since mid October 2025. Sound wise: it’s one humble 4 second OP-1 sample. On exhale I bend the tone using the Web Audio API (as sound should feel like your inhaling and exhaling), and if a breathing pattern outgrows those four seconds, the sound gets politely stretched (als using same API) to comply. Visually, I’m keeping cues simple on purpose so your brain doesn’t have to negotiate with them. But because sound does most of the heavy lifting, you can close your eyes, lie down, or use it at 3am while convincing yourself you’re definitely not dying. Headphones recommended, existential dread optional. Very much not finished. UI needs love, onboarding needs clarity, and the system still needs to explain which breathing helps which flavour of internal chaos. That all comes next. More soon. For now, we continue breathing manually.

I have been saying for years that creatine monohydrate (CM) is the most effective & safest supplement on the market for improving lean mass, strength, performance, & now we have data showing it may improve cognition while decreasing symptoms of depression & possibly protect against traumatic brain injury Myths abound about the safety of CM, with claims that it damages the kidneys, liver, heart, causes bloating, damages the gut, & causes water retention A new meta-analysis (PMID: 40198156) attempted to compile all clinical research that reported side effects & analyze whether or not creatine caused side effects vs placebo The meta included over 26,000 total subjects & the characteristics were as follows: Average intake per day: 12.5g Average duration of use: ~9 weeks (longest was 14 years) Average age: 30 (up to 77) There were 49 total side effects reported, including: palpitations, thromboembolic events, GI distress, muscle cramping, kidney issues, liver enzymes, neoplasm, heart issues, & many others There were NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES for any of these side effects between creatine & placebo, indicating that it is unlikely to cause any side effects Additionally, while CM increases total body water, it does NOT increase extracellular water, which means it doesn’t cause edema (PMID: 12937471) Some people report GI issues from CM & for those people, I recommend dividing it up into smaller doses throughout the day It also does NOT cause hair loss (PMID: 40265319) Do not waste your money on forms of creatine other than monohydrate. It is the most studied form by far & is also the least expensive. All other forms (ethyl ester, hydrochloride, buffered, etc) are more expensive (so supplement companies can justify overcharging you) & none of them are more effective than CM & some are less effective (like ethyl ester). Presumably cut for time, this scene took place on the Megaship Mark II between taking off from NASADA and Tommy’s team briefing in the war room. Andros leads the other Red Rangers of Earth down the hall — TJ feeling right at home aboard the familiar ship; Jason stoically impressed; Eric stoked in front of Wes; Carter in awed silence; and finally Cole, taking in the experience with childlike innocence. Getting lost staring into space, the Blazing Lion is interrupted by Alpha 7 — originally properly introduced in this scene as a walking database of everything Power Rangers. Having grown up in the jungle and never seen a robot before, Cole reacts to the automaton with wonder. I have friends from Central America and Cuba who voted for Trump because they "heard he'd be good for the economy," who are now being targeted for deportation by ICE, and threatened to be separated from their American families unless they self-deport together. I have undocumented friends who have paid taxes for 22 years and will get NOTHING, save for deported. I have friends who are undocumented and whose kids who were born here and are naturalized citizens. The Fotoplayer was an instrument developed by the American Photo Player Co. between the years of 1912 and 1925, used to provide music and sound effects for silent movies. Before movies had sound, playing background music during a film aided in developing a particular mood for a certain scene. Initially, small theatres would use player pianos to produce music automatically from piano rolls. After some time, some of these pianos were extended in size with pipe organs and sound effects inserted into large cabinets connected to the sides of the piano. The user of this new contraption could then create multiple sounds to match the actions on screen. Between 8,000 and 12,000 of these musical instruments were made between 1910 and 1928. The appeal of the Fotoplayer to theatre owners was the fact that it took no major musical skill to operate. The Fotoplayer would play the piano and pipe organ mechanically using an electric motor, an air pump, and piano rolls while the user of the Fotoplayer would follow the onscreen action while pulling cords, pushing buttons, and pressing pedals to produce relatable sounds to what was occurring onscreen.
