The era of fighting game players who were talented enough to be at the top of all of the games that they played are becoming rare. We know back in the day, majority of SF4 players played UMVC3 like as if they're all part of a Happy Meal Set, a 'meant to be' but Chris G was in top8 for all 'popular games' at their time. But when was it where he felt like he has achieved something greater than just being 'good'? s/o to Kevin Landon

I have been building this game by myself for almost 200 days. Averaging at 2 hours a day it makes around 400 hours. total. The game is FAR from complete, but it is at a really good state! Some fun little things 2024 Brough with it for this game: -Started the project! -Got featured on 80 level and Rock Paper Shotgun! -PC gamer wanted to announce the game in their event (and wrote a nice article too)! -Got a publishing deal for the game! I was just at Hornets shootaround and asked Miles Bridges about playing in front of a loud, sold-out crowd every night: “I’m not used to this. It’s usually just a couple games like Warriors, Lakers, Knicks. But now, guys are coming to games against Portland. Portland’s a good team … But people don’t show up to those types of games. So I’m happy for the fans that they get to experience this.”

Put some hard time on the ground with Revolving Games upcoming soon-to-be announced 4X space game they spent $18M building out over the last three years. It’s kind of like Civilization in space, tuned for web3. 4x + Web3 = is a match made in heaven. From what I’ve been playing here with some hours lost with this is that this game is the real deal. Still in development but with lots of potential here. RG may not be shilling their shit on the timeline but they be building good games at max throttle behind the scenes. Adding the full web3 integration to this game is going to help kick web3 gaming into a new gear. I can see the instant appeal of this game, especially with web3 assets at stake. Also tested out their web3 game Hatchlings already and putting in some work tonight with the dev build of Skyborne Flight of the Phoenix casual game. I own > 10 percent of the Nexus Gems NFTs and there is a reason I haven’t sold any even though I’m in significant profit. Finally seeing what they have been building makes me feel all warm and cozy that I held my position. These guys are building kickass games as I see it and I want to be here in on the ground floor of what’s happening. RG is one of the web3 studios in a good position to ride the upcoming web3 gaming wave, if we get one
