#UFL Film Review: DB's Bryce Thompson & Kiondre Thomas D.C. Defenders GM Von Hutchins traded for both Thompson and Thomas this past offseason. So far, those moves are paying off in dividends. The age old debate about which grade gas to use for me is irrelevant. I feel that while 87 is cheaper, you get worst gas mileage. While 93 is more expensive, you get better gas mileage. The different in price may only be a few bucks if it’s even that high. What I would like to see is one grade that’s safe for all cars new and old. I never liked the idea of multiple grades as most people can’t tell the difference anyways, what do you use in your car? Do you feel it makes a difference? I would like to know what the general consensus is when it comes to this.

He can move laterally and jump a gap at the snap in a blink or he can bull rush right through blockers with ease. The high-end plays are truly incredible. Rare to see a player of that size move so fluidly and then come back with the raw power he possesses on the next play. The flashes are what will sell teams, but Banks has a ways to go before he's that player on a consistent basis. Too often, Banks plays with poor leverage and conditioning (foot injury and weight played a factor). When he's playing too tall, his get-off and power are robbed. Then you've got inconsistent hand usage. He will swing wildly and hit nothing. Leaving his chest open and making himself easy to block. The combination of inconsistent pad level and hand usage leads to having trouble against double teams as he can be displaced and moved down the line. Banks' profile shows pass rush upside with inconsistent run defense and one of the worst tacklers we've ever seen. Banks leaves his feet and lunges or will completely stop his feet and reach for the ball carrier (around the shoulders) and both lead to big missed tackles. These misses have severely affected his overall production. Banks has never played more than 422 snaps in a season and if he's going to become a full time starter in the NFL, he's going to need to stay healthy and improve at the little things. He's a 'Home Run or Strikeout' player right now and at age 23 on Draft Night, he's one of only 4 players in the current consensus top 32 that'll be over that mark. If he pans out, it'll be easy to see why. If his highlights were the whole story, Banks would be a top 12 lock. Instead, you have to wonder if he'll ever reach those heights.

But the running was a problem. The running category is for 3km. I got 2nd grade in the first round and 1st grade in the second round. To get Special Grade, you have to finish within 12 mins and 30 secs. For Elite Trainee eligibility, you must rank Grade 1 or above, which is below 13 mins and 20 secs. So although many people tried, most of them failed due to the running portion. Taehyungie hyung also kept getting Grade 2 in both the first and second rounds. He needed Grade 1, but his stamina but his stamina wasn't keeping up. That time he tols me, "I thought my stamina is great because I've been dancing for more than 10 years, but it hit me pretty hard to find it isn't like that." Everyone is using Macros WRONG in #CollegeFootball27 🤯 Most players are filling all 10 macro slots with complete coverage shells. 😴 ...Really only 5 since you need one for the left and one for the right. Instead, think of your macros as building blocks. For example, instead of creating a full Cover 3 Cloud macro, create a simple Cover 3 Right macro. Now you can stack it onto: ✅ A stock Cover 2 to create Cover 3 Cloud ✅ A stock Cover 4 Quarters to create a (reversed) Cover 6 ✅ Other mini macros to build dozens of unique coverage shells 👉You can even create building blocks for annoying adjustments. Now that the "Blueprint to beating Drake Maye" is playing high amounts of Cover 6 defense. I want to help demystify it's strengths and weaknesses: Definition: Cover 6 is simply two DBs on one side playing deep quarters and one DB on the opposite side playing deep half (Literally adding Cover 4 and Cover 2 concepts) It is great for fooling young players who can't read which coverage you are in when you are in a combo coverage. What works against flats: Pre-snap reads that quickly identify if the Will or the Sam are covering the flats can help you target that area of the field to capitalize on the speed difference between defender and skill position players. What works against Cover 2 side: Hole shots as well as comebacks/curls plus inside receiver corners What works against the Cover 4 side: Crossing over the face of the inside DB and running deep leverage "Bang 8" routes that isolate the outside DB This video breaks it down perfectly! #NEPats
