Community Watch Grimsby 👁️ Another cold night last night but thankfully a lot of the rough sleepers got a bed at the emergency night shelter The few that were out in the cold were given hats, scarves, gloves, socks and emergency foil blankets as well as a hot meal and drink all thanks to everyone that supports me 💙 Winter is fast approaching so trying my hardest to get the emergency flat ready for our homeless and veterans struggling, hope to have it ready and moved in by December🤞🏻 I know I've been quite online, if I said I wasn't struggling I'd be lying but it is what it is we all suffer don't we I'll make a little progress video of the flat next week, but all I care about is getting a safe warm space ready before winter, this isn't about having anything fancy it's about giving our most vulnerable shelter from the cold, a halfway house with access to all services available to them and the chance to become the best versions of themselves whenever they're ready. FT 🐝 Brentford 3 v 0 Spurs 🐓 Normal service has resumed 🤦🏻‍♂️😡 What an Embarrassing performance tonight end of. There were so many players that were shit everyone needs to look at themselves tonight. Richy,Bergvall,Gallagher,van Hecke and Tonali to name but a few were poor for me. Only Tel comes out with any credit for his effort for setting up Moore but even that’s a push We simply couldn’t defend We were absolutely shambolic in that 1st half of football,we were second to every ball, so weak through the middle they just ran through us. They looked way ahead of us in fitness and physicality. We were simply outclassed. It was summed up in the 1st half with their fans singing what a waste of money to Tonali, and he deserved it. Richarlison spent more time on the floor than running at the defence. Before their first goal, you just knew it was coming, so many warning signings. The second goal came from mistakes from Richy and Bergvall that led to Kinsky mistaking parrying it to Yanelt. Bergvall and Gallagher unsurprisingly went off at HT It took no time to concede a 3rd Moore spurned 2 good chances to pull goals back before they missed a penalty and total embarrassment This is nowhere near our real starting 11, so I have to go easy. Brentford just steamrolled Frankfurt 7-0 last week. What have we been doing in training for the last few weeks ? #COYS 🤍💙

Ft Aston Villa 1 v 2 Spurs Oh Robert De Zerbi 🔥🔥get in there 👊🏼 What an unbelievable win it’s in our hands now and we are out of the relegation zone. That first half of football that was! The best this season, I think. We got in their faces from the off, pressing them relentlessly. De Zerbi’s ball was there for all to see: 50/50s and 2nd balls. Gallagher’s strike to put us one up was superb. Palhinha hit the post with another great shot shortly after. We were all over them. Martinez pulled off a great save to stop them going 2-0 before Richarlison put in our second. The scenes in the away end were amazing he is ready for the battle as always. Bentancur, Palhinha, and Gallagher were controlling the midfield with Destiny getting forward well Tel needed to be a bit calmer on his final ball. At HT we had 8 shots 4 on target to their none Palhinha was like an animal in the second half pressing tackle just unbelievable with Bentancur and Gallagher working so hard. Kinsky’s ball control and distribution was so good. MVDV had to make a couple of crucial tackles but we were very comfortable. I felt like I was watching a football team tonight Leeds next #COYS 🤍💙

The building housed a restaurant, and people were celebrating the Eid. Their joy turned to sorrow and terror.. Shrapnel flew into my house and I saw flames burning that building.. The first thing I did when daylight came was check on the cats... Thank God they're all well... and my family and me are well too.. The ceasefire agreement they claim is extremely fragile, and the crossings have been closed since the beginning of the Iranian war.. We are struggling to survive.. My dear friends, I tweeted repeatedly that war could return here at any moment. And what happened tonight is the biggest proof of that.. We were way too porous in the middle, and we paid the price when Buendia ran through to smash one pass to Vicario. Shorty after another disaster, Richy goes down injured. Xavi is just not commanding the ball at all for a player of his supposed level. It’s not good enough. As I thought, that he once picked up the ball and drove through the middle to create a chance for Muani. Yet again, another mistake by Tel this time. Buendia with a nice chip to put Rodgers through to score 2-0. The crowd booing and singing, “You’re getting sacked in the morning.” What a mess in that 1st half. 64% possession they had and 4 shots on target they were far the better team with better players. It was a nationally televised Sunday matchup, the kind of stage Jordan had dominated for more than a decade. But Jordan decided to make the night even more symbolic. Instead of wearing the modern sneakers of 1998, he laced up the original red-and-black Air Jordan 1 from his 1984 rookie season, essentially stepping onto the floor in a pair of basketball shoes that were already over a decade old. Fadeaways. Turnarounds. Impossible shots from every angle. At one point he even spun through the lane for a 360-degree slam, reminding everyone that age 35 meant nothing to him. By the end of the night, Jordan had poured in 42 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and led Chicago to a 102–89 victory over the Knicks. The performance came at a cost. Honestly, if I could have scripted it, I could not have imagined a more nail-biting storyline - tension building all night, and then that unbelievable release at the end. I have to admit: I was close to a heart attack. And then I cried tears of joy when Kristian Gkolomeev won the Men’s 50m Freestyle in 20.81s, setting a new world record. He takes home a $1,000,000 bonus, a $250,000 first-place prize - and reclaims the 50m Freestyle world record. Think about what a world record actually means. It means you are better at something than roughly 8 billion other people on this planet. Let that sink in. I know some people expected us to break (many) more world records tonight. But as always in science: baseline matters. Enhancements bring out the best in you - but they are not a magic bullet. Kristian was already one of the best clean swimmers in the world - and then he added the icing on the cake to reach entirely new heights. And needless to say: the air gets thinner at the very top. Especially in the shortest events, breaking a world record has become harder and harder over the decades. And then there is the unquantifiable magic of live sport. It does not matter how good you looked in training camp. It all comes down to that one moment. A few athletes who were world-record contenders had injuries today. Others had stage fright. That is real sport. We have many more years ahead of us to break world records - one by one - and we will. We are just getting started. But world records are not even my favorite part. While breaking world records will always be one of the core themes of the Enhanced Games, what inspires me most is something else: the human drive to become the best version of ourselves. She had not competed internationally in almost a decade, and at 35 years old she is now better than she was in her early twenties after only a few weeks of enhanced training. Megan defied aging in spectacular fashion and became a role model for all of us on how to age better - or maybe even how not to age at all – with the power and support of medical enhancements. Or take Emily Barclay - an athlete who had previously competed only at NCAA level. Her 50m freestyle time tonight would have been enough to win bronze in Paris. And it earned her $375,000. A true Cinderella story - made possible not by a fairy godmother, but by science. I could go on and on - and I will. Because we want to tell all of these incredible, deeply personal stories. World records are these almost mythical, elusive numbers. But winning the race against ourselves, against aging, against doubt, against the people who told us what is supposedly impossible - that is what truly inspires me. I looked at the empty hall we filled today and said a little prayer before the hall staff called me and thanked me for a job well done and would like to work on subsequent events. I laughed. I asked them if they can take 20,000 attendees. They looked at me funny. I showed them our attendees record for today and we did 4993 in the hall and almost 1k standing at the red carpet. They said everything should roughly be 6k because people were leaving and coming. Today the maiden edition of #IbadanTechExpo held at the International Conference Center, UI, Ibadan. People bought tickets till 4pm. For a show that started 8am. We trended for hours as the number 1 trending topic on twitter in Nigeria. It’s easy to ask me to rest. This is not the time to rest. The show has ended for attendees and speakers. But I still have post event to handle. Sending letters to all sponsors. Thank you notes. Compiling data. Sending a report to the state government. HERASKEVYCH: Today we only had a court hearing this morning, and there's already a decision. We're already thinking about our next steps, because I believe the CAS decision is also shameful, but I'll comment in more detail a bit later. I need to familiarize myself with it in more detail. The hearing itself was, in my opinion, rather one-sided. I didn't hear anything we couldn't answer. Yet at the same time, there were no responses to any of our arguments. And it was very strange for me to see such a decision from CAS. The preparation took quite a long time, and for the athlete, for me, I was probably in the best form of my career. You could say I've been working toward this my entire career. If we're talking specifically about results, the training camps were excellent. I finished the qualifying training in first place with the best result. Unfortunately, that’s where my journey ended. Of course, along the way there were many sacrifices and many training sessions. On average we did 12 training sessions a week, and well, that's truly a massive amount, and they were exhausting. HERASKEVYCH: Right now I'm still in a state... I really haven't slept much these last 4 days, and we constantly have so many updates coming in. I honestly can't quite keep up with observing everything that's happening. I knew many athletes personally, and the idea came up a long time ago. We managed to execute it just shortly before the Olympics. It was painted by a wonderful artist from Kyiv, Iryna Prots. She painted all of this just like all Ukrainians are living - under shelling, in the cold, without electricity. But at the same time she did an incredible job to honor the memory of these wonderful athletes. Among them, we can talk about many. I'll probably start with Dmytro Sharpar, who was a member of the Olympic team at the 2016 Youth Olympic Games, that same team that I was on.
