It’s clear you have issues with JFK jr and calling him out if he gets things wrong is great. I’d love to see you spend half that energy calling out where Fauci got it wrong, and as we now know, lying to the American people as he was admitting the truth in his diary.

Why is @DanaBashCNN making assertions about vaccines? In 2022, Pfizer signed a multi-year deal making it CNN's exclusive pharmaceutical advertiser. The arrangement raised obvious conflict-of-interest questions given CNN's fawning pandemic coverage and relentless suppression of dissenting voices—all while Pfizer's cash flowed directly into the network's coffers.

@jaketapper @jaketapper do you think ignoring the public revelation that you were dining privately with Anthony Fauci while the country was locked down, while at the same time promoting and defending Fauci publicly is something that hurts or helps your credibility?

@jaketapper This isn't just about a loony president. It's about an administration that includes a Health and Human Services Secretary who seems to have lost touch with reality and a Secretary of Defense who doesn't appear fully grounded either.

@jaketapper RFK exposed Bash as the propagandist she is. @jaketapper’s high pitched shrieking won’t change that. Everyone knows what they are. They’re leftwing, deepstate/DNC propagandists. They’re clowns. No one trusts them. They’re a joke.

Hey Paul I have issues with you rec the Pfizer jab to kids and giving them myocarditis. you are the problem along with Dana. Sanjay Gupta along with big bird told kids they would become superheroes if they got the Pfizer jab. RFK is shining a light on corrupt grifters like you

Tapper is a hardcore groupie for all the "experts" who f'ed up the COVID response. But Fauci is a little flacid right now after all that pleading the 5th, so Jake is settling for Offit. Who caused more vax hesitancy in the last 5 years? Fauci, Offit et al by orders of magnitude

@jaketapper these guys are insufferable. select 2 second cuts out of context to then lie. Kennedy said a lot more. CNN lies. Didn’t learn a thing.

Yeah that’s total malarkey. You can guess or make an assumption but you can never definitively prove those numbers of those who died were Vaccinated or unvaccinated. That’s why @CNN is considered a propaganda network or fake news! Also that tv doctor who is paid by cnn is trash

No robust, reproducible evidence from high-quality randomized controlled trials (RCTs) demonstrates that ivermectin is effective for treating COVID-19. Large, well-designed trials and major systematic reviews consistently show little to no clinically meaningful benefit on key outcomes such as mortality, hospitalization, mechanical ventilation, time to recovery, or viral clearance. High-Quality Evidence Against Benefit Major RCTs and reviews include: • ACTIV-6 (US, ~1,600 outpatients): Ivermectin (400 μg/kg for 3 days) did not meaningfully shorten time to sustained recovery versus placebo (median 12 vs. 13 days). Hospitalization/death rates were essentially identical. • TOGETHER trial (Brazil): Early treatment did not reduce hospitalization or prolonged emergency observation. • I-TECH (Malaysia, high-risk patients): No reduction in progression to severe disease, mechanical ventilation, ICU admission, or mortality. • Cochrane living reviews: Moderate- to high-certainty evidence that ivermectin has little or no effect on mortality (especially in outpatients), clinical improvement, hospitalization risk, or other key outcomes. Earlier versions noted very low certainty due to small/poor-quality trials; updates with better data strengthened the “no benefit” conclusion. • Recent meta-analyses (2024–2025) of dozens of RCTs (often >10,000 participants) generally find no significant effect on mortality, mechanical ventilation, PCR conversion, ICU admission, or hospitalization. Occasional signals (e.g., minor symptom duration differences or reduced adverse events in some analyses) are inconsistent, of low certainty, and do not support routine use. Why Earlier Positive Claims Did Not Hold Up Some smaller RCTs and early meta-analyses (often including lower-quality or non-pre-registered studies) reported large reductions in mortality or other benefits. These frequently suffered from: • Small sample sizes • High risk of bias • Methodological issues (some trials later questioned or retracted) • Heterogeneity in dosing, timing, and populations Larger, rigorously conducted trials have not reproduced those benefits. Observational studies claiming prophylaxis benefits also face confounding and are not equivalent to RCTs. Official Positions • FDA: Has not authorized or approved ivermectin for COVID-19 prevention or treatment. Available clinical trial data do not demonstrate effectiveness. • WHO: Strong recommendation against use in patients with non-severe COVID-19 (updated with additional trial evidence showing very low likelihood of benefit and potential for harm). Not recommended outside research settings for other severities either. • Similar conclusions from NIH and other major bodies. Ivermectin remains appropriate for its approved antiparasitic indications at proper doses. High or veterinary doses carry risks of toxicity. Claims of strong antiviral effects at standard human doses have not been supported by clinical outcomes data (in vitro activity typically required far higher concentrations). In short, while the topic generated significant debate and some positive signals in lower-quality work, the body of reproducible, high-quality evidence does not support effectiveness for treating COVID-19. Current standard care relies on other therapies (antivirals like nirmatrelvir-ritonavir where indicated, supportive care, vaccination, etc.) Roughly 30-40% of our fellow citizens only get their news from right wing echo chambers. Regardless of what the science demonstrates. That is testimony to how science illiterate we truly are as a nation. Now… we constantly hear about how many died needlessly because the medical industry kept ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine out of the hands of the public even though studies proved they worked. They site a few articles with 30 tested subjects here or 40 there that showed efficacy but IGNORE the fact that NONE are REPRODUCIBLE using scientific methodology

We are never going to agree on the causes of autism or why the health outcomes is dismal despite spending so much on healthcare. I wonder if Paul Offit would agree that we are in desperate need of health reforms in this country. The real question is whether the system that develops, approves, monitors and recommends vaccines is structured to produce the highest quality evidence over time or whether it has incentives that quietly discourage hard questions once a product is on the schedule. @thackerpd
