@eastantrimmp Good old Sammy forgot to follow it by saying that the economy here would get a £150m return from the crowds visiting the Euros. What have the DUP brought here with their smart investments that has given a 50% return to our economy after six decades never mind six months 🤔

@eastantrimmp How much did all the bonfires, parades and policing just cost us? And the new Ice Bowl? 🤔 I guess Casement is just in the wrong part of Belfast for unionism to get on board 🙄

@eastantrimmp Sammy is aware that the money(for which he has chosen the highest estimate without counting the GAA or Irish government) is not being burnt but is being spent on jobs and materials which will help the economy never mind the tax returns on VAT, income, NI, corporation tax

@eastantrimmp The usual sectarianism. NI summed up in 43 seconds.

@eastantrimmp First I heard they are knocking it down after 5 matches. That’s a pity 😏

@eastantrimmp Ill translate......Committing 300m for a stadium in the heart of West Belfast, who vote sinn fein, is indefensible.....says DUP MP. If it was in Larne he'd be running naked across the pitch in celebration!

@eastantrimmp Hard to believe bitterness like this still exists in 2024

@eastantrimmp Does Sammy Wilson think that Casement Park will be bulldozed after the Euros?

@eastantrimmp But is not 5 matches. It's GAA,concerts, events. The venue will pay for itself. Typical myopic view from Wilson.

@eastantrimmp No mention of the economic benefits of those 5 matches, I see. Make no mistake, he's only crying because the stadium is in west Belfast.
