After 40 days of the Schumer Shutdown, working families have suffered, thousands of workers have gone unpaid, and air travel has been greatly slowed. The House will move quickly this week to reopen the government, pay our workers, and end the pain this unnecessary shutdown has caused the American people.

Thank you to the public service workers who have been working tirelessly in the cold, but it should not be taking this long to clear the streets, sidewalks, and bike lanes so people can move safely. ❄️ Government should work for you.

Around £4m has been repaid to workers by more than 600 employers who've today been named by the government as having paid their staff less than the minimum wage. DIY store B&Q underpaid over 4,500 workers. It said the situation was unintentional, and that all workers involved had now been reimbursed in full.

Living conditions of factory workers in the workers' paradise, The so-called communist utopia of China. 🤡 Another video for all those people who think this is a rare exception. It is not. It is actually very common in China. 😒

The biggest form of theft in America? Corporate wage theft. Workers are robbed of an estimated $50 BILLION EVERY YEAR! And Trump's answer has been to give the green light for employers to steal from workers—so I've got a bill to make sure workers get the pay they've earned.

BREAKING: Donald Trump announces that he will ban taxes on overtime work if elected president to incentivize hard workers. "I am also announcing that as part of our additional tax cuts, we will end all taxes on overtime." Under the plan, anyone who works over 40 hours a week would not be taxed on the hours over 40 for any given week. "The people who work overtime are among the hardest working citizens in our country and for too long, no one in Washington has been looking out for them." "They're police officers, nurses, factory workers, construction workers, truck drivers and machine operators." "It's time for the working man and woman to finally catch a break."

Birmingham's refuse workers should not face pay cuts of up to £8,000 - as much as a quarter of their wages. A fair deal for workers - that would be good news for residents too - has been possible. But with unelected commissioners blocking it, the Government must now step in.
