Yet another massive Russian drone and missile attack on Ukraine last night. Russia used: ◾️579 drones ◾️8 ballistic missiles ◾️32 cruise missiles. Ahead of today's talks in Geneva, Russia has demonstrated its real willingness for peace: Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine that involved almost 400 drones and 29 missiles. ◾️ Odesa Three people injured, one of them is in critical condition. An energy object has been heavily damaged. Even critical infrastructure is lacking electricity. Russian drones also damaged a residential building, a car repair shop, a tire warehouse, shops, garages, and vehicles. ◾️ Sumy region Russian drones struck residential houses in the Kyrykivka community of the Okhtyrka district. A 68-year-old local woman was killed, and her family whole family: son, daughter-in-law, two grandsons were injured. Russia operates a network for the militarization of Ukrainian children, forcefully deported by Moscow's troops, an investigation by the Yale School of Public Health's Humanitarian Research Lab shows. The Russians have set up an unprecedented system of military camps, sanatoriums, boarding schools, and other facilities (such as a monastery) for the 're-education' of abducted Ukrainian children, the HRL team said. ◾️ A total of 210 facilities have been identified in Russia and the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, where young Ukrainians are being prepared for military service. The largest number of 're-education' sites are in Russian-occupied Crimea - 19. Next is Krasnodar Krai (15), followed by Tatarstan (9). ◾️ In these facilities, children are placed in programs of forced militarization. They are made to listen to lectures on Russian history, learn and perform the Russian national anthem, assemble drones, throw grenades, and take part in other activities "that align with pro-Russia narratives." ◾️ Many federal government entities are involved in the network: the defense ministry, the science and education ministry, the Investigative Committee, and the Russian president's directorate. The program is funded through Kremlin grants and supported via movements (Young Army and the Movement of the First), as well as centers (Avangard and Warrior). ◾️ Ukraine has been able to verify Russia's deportation of over 19,500 children since the beginning of Moscow's full-scale invasion. But the actual number is likely to be much higher - HRL placed the number of deported children closer to 35,000.
