That’s where we arrive in London. Many trains!

When people walked freely, safely and with purpose. When we all had a collective strong identity. British. We has no idea it was soon to be stolen. I lived this moment, I was there. Incredible memories. Thank you for these treasures Bobbie.

@ritamay1 Where I used to arrive every working day morning in the 1960s

Imagine those benches being there on the concourse today! They'd be daily pile-ups with all the bundling & barging to dash for a train as the display screens (finally) flash up a platform!

It's almost totally w°g free. How delightful..!

We live in the ashes of a great civilisation.

I think Ray and @davedavieskinks just got it. The river is what goes rolling on by .Not the trains.

That's the Waterloo I remember. I used to go to the cinema when they showed cartoons. 1d platform ticket and spend the entire day watching the steam trains puff out. The Golden Arrow was my favorite. (But that was Victoria station)

Yes, when we were still travelling by steam train !

I love your videos. A wonderful contribution.
