@ChristinMP_ @chairmanbwssb @blrcitytraffic The only way to solve the pothole problem is for the taxpayers to get together and fill them. We have to do it for our own safety. BBMP or other relevant agencies won’t lift their bums from their cushioned seats.

@chairmanbwssb @blrcitytraffic Most of BLR roads r like this, filled w potholes. And the patch work tat they do is more like road hump than pothole filling. The authorities r not bothered & ppl have started to accept this is the new norm. It is sad that the general public who pay tax, cannot do anything.

Only in Bengaluru Unicycle Ride Through Traffic Leaves Commuters Stunned A classic “Peak Bengaluru” moment was witnessed once again on the city’s busy roads, where a man was seen riding a unicycle in traffic, seemingly to beat the notorious Bengaluru congestion. While the act may appear impressive and even entertaining to some, it is important to highlight that this is not a safe practice on public roads.Riding a unicycle in heavy traffic requires professional-level skill and extreme balance, and even then, it carries significant risks. Bengaluru roads are known for sudden potholes, uneven surfaces, and unpredictable vehicle movement. A minor loss of balance or an unexpected obstacle could lead to serious accidents, not only endangering the rider but also posing a risk to other motorists and pedestrians.Public roads are designed for standard vehicles, not for stunt-like activities, no matter how skilled the individual may be. Such acts, when performed in traffic, can distract drivers and create unsafe situations. While creativity and skill are admirable, road safety must always take priority to prevent avoidable mishaps and ensure the safety of everyone sharing the road. Karnataka State Police S. Bengaluru package: Study at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, survive Bannerghatta Road, and heal at Jayadeva Hospital People regularly pass through this stretch of road, which begins near Jayadeva Hospital and continues up to the main road entrance. Unfortunately, the entire stretch is riddled with multiple potholes, making daily commuting extremely difficult and unsafe.Because of this poor road condition, bike riders are the worst affected. Their vehicle suspensions are getting severely damaged, and constant jerks are taking a toll on their backs and overall health. It genuinely feels like citizens are risking both their vehicles and their physical well-being just to travel a short distance. Is this what we call infrastructure development? A road that looks like it is competing with moon craters? It raises serious concerns about accountability and governance. What exactly are the authorities doing? Where is the government when such basic civic issues remain unresolved for so long? This particular stretch near IIMB Metro Station has become a daily struggle for commuters. Immediate attention and proper road maintenance are not just necessary they are long overdue. Karnataka State Police S. Craters So Big, Even NASA Might Get Confused moon craters of Agara Bus Stop Edition Every single day, thousands of commuters traveling from Silk Board to Outer Ring Road are forced to navigate this stretch that looks less like a road and more like a lunar surface.Just watch how a BMTC bus moves like a snake, swaying in sine waves to dodge these massive, water-filled potholes. This isn’t a new issue that popped up overnight these potholes have been here for months. And despite being one of the busiest and most important corridors of the city, absolutely nothing has been done to fix it. It’s not just about inconvenience anymore it’s about public safety.Every bump is a potential accident. Two-wheelers struggle to keep balance, cars swerve dangerously, and buses are forced to slow down, creating traffic jams and increasing the risk of collisions. The shocking part?Authorities pass by this road every day. They see the problem.Citizens complain repeatedly. Yet, no action is taken. It’s as if the management is waiting for a tragedy to finally wake up and repair what should have been fixed long ago. Is this what “Brand Bengaluru” stands for? Why citizen safety is ignored, and basic road maintenance becomes a luxury?Citizens pay taxes, and in return, they deserve safe and functional roads not death traps disguised as bus stops. #bangalore #bengaluru #hsrlayout INTEGRATED COMMAND AND CONTROL CENTRE BBMP_SWM Cell bbmpcommissioner Greater Bengaluru Authority Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS Karnataka State Police S. This is one of the worst stretches in Bengaluru, and unfortunately, this is not the first time it has been waterlogged. Year after year, every time heavy rain hits the city, this underpass turns into a lake, causing severe inconvenience to commuters, damaging vehicles, and putting lives at risk. Despite repeated incidents and countless complaints from citizens, nothing seems to have changed. The most frustrating part is that this problem is entirely predictable. Authorities know exactly what happens here during every monsoon, yet there appears to be no permanent solution or effective drainage system in place. Instead, residents and daily commuters are forced to suffer the same ordeal repeatedly while promises of infrastructure improvements remain on paper. Citizens pay taxes expecting better roads, proper stormwater management, and safe public infrastructure. However, situations like this raise serious questions about planning, accountability, and maintenance. How many more years will people have to endure the same issue before meaningful action is taken? A city aspiring to be a global technology hub cannot afford to have critical roads and underpasses flooded after every spell of rain. Public issues deserve attention, and citizens deserve better than the same recurring problem year after year. Karnataka State Police S. 🚨 Public Alert 🚨 In today’s fast-paced world, people have become so dependent on convenience that it’s making them careless and, in some cases, easy targets for scams. Earlier, customers used to visit jewelry shops personally to buy gold coins, check the weight, verify the purity, and ensure authenticity. But now, with the rise of quick-commerce culture in major cities, people prefer ordering even precious items like gold online without proper verification. This growing laziness and overreliance on delivery apps have opened the door for fraudsters. In a recent shocking incident, a man ordered a gold coin worth ₹13,028 through Instamart X Kalyan Jewellers, but to his horror, he received only an empty box instead of the coin.Such incidents are a wake-up call for everyone. Always verify sellers, avoid purchasing high-value items through instant delivery platforms, and double-check the authenticity before making payments. Convenience should never come at the cost of caution! Karnataka State Police S. Bengaluru’s Deadly Wires war zone Negligence That Could Kill You Anytime The horrifying incident yesterday on the Inner Ring Road (IRR), where a scooter rider got entangled in a hanging cable, is a serious reminder of the dangers lurking on our streets. Sadly, this is not an isolated case such incidents are becoming increasingly common across Bengaluru. A tangled web of loose, abandoned, and unidentified wires hangs dangerously over roads and footpaths, posing constant risks of accidents and even electrocution. Every day, commuters are forced to navigate these hazards, putting their lives at risk due to sheer negligence. The lack of accountability from authorities is deeply concerning. Despite repeated incidents, there has been no serious effort to fix the problem. Poor coordination between civic bodies and service providers has turned public infrastructure into a threat rather than a support system. It is unacceptable that a global city like Bengaluru, known for innovation and progress, continues to struggle with such basic safety issues. Along with illegal flex boards and poorly managed utilities, these hanging cables are making roads more dangerous day by day. Many accidents have already occurred due to this issue, and unless immediate action is taken, more lives will be at risk. Authorities must act now identify and remove unused cables, enforce strict regulations, and ensure proper maintenance. Bengaluru deserves safer roads. Negligence cannot continue at the cost of human lives. #bangalore #bengaluru #accident #irr Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS Greater Bengaluru Authority INTEGRATED COMMAND AND CONTROL CENTRE Karnataka State Police S. Drunk, Abusive & Above The Law?” Bengaluru Road Rage Incident Sparks Outrage After Woman Rider Allegedly Threatens Family On 8th Mile Road A disturbing case of alleged road rage and reckless behaviour has been reported from 8th Mile Road, Bengaluru. A citizen stated that yesterday, while her friend and family were returning from their hometown to Bengaluru, they witnessed a shocking incident involving a rider of vehicle number KA-06-HP-1149. According to the complaint, the girl riding the vehicle was allegedly not wearing a helmet, violating basic traffic rules, and behaving aggressively on the road. The complainant further alleged that she used extremely abusive language towards them in public, creating panic and discomfort among other commuters. 🚨 Locals in the area reportedly claimed that the rider appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. If true, drunk driving combined with rash and aggressive behaviour is not just irresponsible it is a serious threat to public safety. Bengaluru roads are already witnessing increasing cases of road rage, reckless riding, signal jumping, and dangerous driving, putting innocent lives at risk every single day. Traffic rules are meant for everyone equally, regardless of gender, background, or influence. No one should feel entitled to break the law, abuse citizens, or create chaos on public roads. Wearing a helmet, following traffic rules, and behaving responsibly are the minimum duties of every road user. Such aggressive behaviour on busy roads can easily lead to accidents, injuries, or even loss of life. Road rage incidents are becoming alarmingly common in Bengaluru, and strict action is necessary to send a strong message that irresponsible and abusive behaviour on public roads will not be tolerated. Civic sense, discipline, and respect for fellow commuters are essential to make roads safer for everyone. Karnataka State Police S.
