@wachitema They get robbed these these new farmers aka (Black farmers) $2 a kg and then Zvigananda sell US$11 to $14 a kg .They sell tobacco and buy pap and go home ๐ก

@wachitema If you donโt like the price, just donโt sellโฆ.

Well good for the hard toiling ones who next season will be struggling for inputs given the reap off from the auction floor. For as long as they remain as producers and not involved in the value chain these gains means nothing for them.

Do you know whatโs a value chain though? How are they not involved when they are the producers of the product?

This is a success story.

It is a BIG DEAL, not spoken enough

The small scale is much better as it has empowered many & uplifted lives. 2025 tobacco season is not yet even as almost 35% to 40% of tobacco is still under process in Mash west due to rains came late in January this year...

Black empowerment, which is hated by the whites and their puppets. It's the best thing ever.

Go to the auction floors and hear what the Chinese are paying our farmers for their tobacco. Do you know in 1999 farmers were being paid more per kg than what they are being paid by the Chinese today. 26 years after.

You have a negativity syndrome Bambo โฆ prices depend on qualityโฆ if the farmers werenโt happy, they would have left the tobacco industry and grew other cash crops
