Comparison of my initial thumbnails towards the final animatic for 'Brute' opening! Wanted to show my process, that I get the foundation anda very rough idea down before I start to 'cake' or 'prettify' things up. The very rough idea is underappreciated in the boarding process.

Yes. Thank you for sharing the roughs - I think way too many people see the tarted up versions only and think that’s what the first mark on paper needs to look like. Keep on keeping on with posts like these. They’re much appreciated.

I had the initial idea for the ALLEIKHREOS intro while camping in the wilderness without a computer. I suddenly woke up at 3am with a full track in my head, and had to run to the bathroom (as to not wake my friends) and use my voice memos to get the idea down. Listening to me trying to explain it to my future self is so funny 😂

That was where it began, and after that, during the preparation process, I ended up working on even more things. 2021 - The animating process wasn’t too hard because the animatic was so damn good. the most stressful part was to get the rough done in a few weeks, while keeping characters on model and scale accurate. Had to get it done before I went on to supervise Monkie Kid Season 3 after.
