Awesome talk! Radix like composition makes it so much more easy to mantain codebases it just bit too hard to think about and hard for amending past mistakes

I’ve actually found composition to be great for refactoring impossible-to-fix code. Just copy all the logic at the top of the component into a context provider. Then, you can easily start turn your massive JSX return statement into smaller components.

Mmmm I like this have not thought about it this way, I usually just try to have the logic as further away as possible and deal with these as “molecules and atoms” and keep their logic simple, like input value transforms and stuff like that

Sharing with the team. Brilliant articulation of _such_ an important frontend eng concept.

I am usually struggling myself when comparing/thinking this with Smart-Dumb component pattern, with this, the child component has access to the context and visible to everything it has in the context instead of what it actually needs. We just refactor our most complex screen into this pattern and it’s so much easier to read and understand. The only “downside” I think is now when looking at 1st glance, we now don’t know which things that this component needs or rely one, because now everything were shared in the context and everyone can use.
