Visual Effects is still incredibly difficult today! We have more automation around rigging and blendshapes/key-framing which you’re seeing the basic form of in the video but sadly, also a lot less time and budget. And nearly zero appreciation from anyone - even supposed fans of movies. 😭🎻

Those who have seen Beauty and the Beast or Lion King will understand. The first of its kind to blend computer graphics and hand painted frames at scale. Scenes which mimicked real camera movements

Silicon Graphics. Back then those computers cost thousands of dollars and severs hundreds of thousands of dollars. Now an iPhone has more computing power than that 😂
