Computer animation in the 90s was no joke

Respect to everyone who ever waited hours for a single frame to render.

They had some of the best scenes

They were brave pioneer of a completely new art form, hats off to them.

One day we’ll look back and wonder how intellectual people actually were.

Wow who could have thought this And somehow it still hits harder than half of what we see today They had less tools but more soul now it’s just the opposite.

I hope they paid guys like this a fortune for these intricacy of animations back in 90's?

They really set the stage for all the magic we see now 🙂

Now I know who's to blame for AI

I wanna know how many times the project crashed and they loss their work. Happened to me so much on Apple G4

Those Silicon Graphics machines were every computer nerds dream rig in the early 90s.

The legendary Bézier curve.

Wait till find out about Real 3D on the old Amiga /Toaster system. The developed Babylon 5 and early TNG on it.

Before Pixar made it pretty, the 90s made it blocky 😅

The world has really evolved

It's still no joke, and still the same principles apply to handcrafted animation.

You can just tell how stressful this was then just to create simply graphics.

Imagine how much skill and actual knowledge this took... Now at days.. everything is pre-programmed which has made life simple with just pressing a button or AI made! Crazy how far we have come. Now for the next wave of Web3 and Blockchain Technology!
