Disagree with a bit of your post: Amad was quiet because he was marked out of the game. Three players on him the minute he has the ball - no fault of his own. Eriksen came on and made a difference. Infact he probably should have came on when Bruno or carded as we needed that creative player. 3-4-3 does work and if you’ve watched any of the sporting games you’ll see that with the right players and the right manager giving instructions it’s very effective against the majority of formations. Yes it has its draw backs but positives far outweigh them. We have to stick to it or get a new manager because this is Amorims style. EtH had a style until he came to United and changed it quite quickly into his tenure - it didn’t work out and his constant changing of playing style saw thousands and thousands of fans each week complaining about lack of identity. Stick with Amorim, his style and identity and it’ll be worth it in the end. Ask him to change his philosophy and you’ll gain a coach that is completely unidentifiable to the one we bought in.

Personally, Amorim's 343 is a big issue. Being an idealist at a club that has used 433 for basically all its existence and coming to change it mid-season when the club is in crisis is an issue. RVN's short stint is the best football utd have played this season.

The lack of effort, the shit mentality and the lack of simple Footballing IQ is just unacceptable. Ruben will probably go and for players like Bruno, Shaw, Dalot, Maguire it will be the 4/5th manager sacked (not saying it’s fully their fault) Just look at some of the goals we conceded against Brentford. First goal comes from a shocking simple pass from Dalot (uncoachable)and Maguire playing Igor onside which tbf you could blame Amorim for playing him as the last man. The second goal Dalot with absolutely shocking positioning and a shit hand from Bayindr both uncoachable. The third goal Mainoo gives it away, lack of desire to get back from majority of the team that’s just a lack of effort and desire which again isn’t coachable. Don’t get me wrong Ruben has got a lot wrong this season but these players have been absolutely shocking too and need to be held accountable and criticised just as much.

FT Spurs 0 v 3 Nottingham Forest We are in serious trouble make no mistake about it,mid March and we still have no wins it’s just an unbelievably bad situation. 2 games against them we’ve conceded 6 and scored 0 😡 We lost to a shambolic second half from Forest in reality. You can’t say they didn’t try but we just weren’t good enough. How we ended the 1st half 1 down. I’ll never know. We had so much pressure on their goal. I was worried when it was announced Michael Oliver was our ref today. He gives us nothing, and so it came to be a couple of penalty shouts and every decision against us. Gray, Tel, and Danso did so well in that half, but again we were undone at a corner. Igor Jesus heading in after losing Spence,not long after a great shot from Tel was brilliantly saved. I think we deserved better. For the possession, we needed more shots on target. Tudor took off Spence and MVDV off at HT, which was a bit of a surprise to me. Maybe it was the poor late goal at HT. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Leaving Porro on Hudson Odoi was always going to end badly, and it did as he crossed for MGW to score. 😡 How Oliver allowed Sangare to stay on the pitch after a clear 2nd yellow on Simmons was beyond me . First clip i am showing from yesterday is the first goal. Now, Wednesday were doing ok before the goal. Battling hard, winning second balls and getting up the pitch. The Svante chance, our best one, was on 4 mins. The first goal ended the contest, and whilst Valery is the main culprit for losing the ball, it came from a chance to get the ball forward for us that we lost. When the ball comes out to Fusire on the right, there is great chance for a quick attack as united are 2vs2 in the final third. Svante & Ugbo should both run to the right side and work the channel. But Svante barely moves and Ugbo runs away from the ball. We end up going back, losing it and conceding. SUFC had 10 shots all game. We gave the ball away 6 times out of the 10 shots. They did not have to work for anything after this moment in the game. It is a Sheffield Derby, you have to simply play the occasion and get it forward and build chances. The difference between Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday in the last so many derbies is that we play it like it is just another game and employ the same tactics, whereas SUFC play it as a derby match.

Everything positive going forward was coming from Xavi, but MVDV, Gallagher, Gray & Palhinha must be given credit as they battled well, constantly pressing to contain them. How did Oliver give Palhinha a yellow for a perfect tackle, then gave Frank one for complaining about it? Hate that ref. I can definitely see improvement in this team’s play, both offensively and defensively, and in the transitions despite the result and our injuries. Until their 81st-minute 2nd, we were still in the game. Looks like the United fan is finally getting a hair cut. #COYS 🤍💙

Why 4-3-3 WON’T WORK for United during AFCON 🔴 AFCON hasn’t started yet, but the problem is already clear. With no Amad and no Mbeumo available, defaulting to a 4-3-3 would be a mistake waiting to happen. Casualties have been reported, but the number of victims and their conditions are not yet known. Back to school season should not come with the fear of being shot. FT Arsenal 4 v 1 Spurs Absolutely shocking performance in the first half way to passive it’s like we respected they way to much . We’ve not show any courage They were just way to good for us in every department Rice and Zubermendi dominated the midfield I just don’t think one of our players on the pitch would start for them that’s the truth. The pass from Merino to Trossard cut it to pieces we were nowhere. Eze strike was good but I thought a player was offside blocking Vicario We couldn’t even manage a shot that’s how good they were and how bad we are. Richarlison goal was right up there with best NLD goals but how bad must we be when he’s been our best player aggressive pressing constantly All those fans saying missing out on Eze was no loss we’ve got Xavi 🤦🏻‍♂️ A hatrick to destroy us Frank out will no doubt ring out tonight Absolutely Gutted
