I’m surprised why it was a failed project

I was plane spotting in Paris airport by the runway, with my radio receiver setup to control tower frequency, and was lucky to watch the Concorde taking off. It was amazing and magnificent.

An aircraft of great importance. A considerable number of innovations that appeared on Concorde were re-used on Airbus. some.. : -electric flight controls -mini stick -carbon brakes -detection of under-inflation of tires + SPAD braking (ABS) -ATEC system failure detection

As Concorde was a joint UK / French collaboration, ‘Reheat’ is the correct vernacular. U.S uses ‘Afterburner’ 👍
